Oh Jezebel, what have we done?
Villains fascinate us. Always. Because they dare. Because we believe that the villain, in their will to break the status quo, is driven by deeper motives than the hero, who only seeks to preserve it. The hero preserves; the villain transforms.
Jezebel. A name heavy with violence, seduction, and biblical whispers. Like her, this fragrance seduces before it enslaves. The opening – pear, chocolate – lulls us into a false sense of innocence. We let ourselves fall, unaware that we’ve already crossed an invisible line. Then comes truffle, vanilla – carnal notes announcing the inner conflict: what we give up to get what we desire.
Finally, amber, tonka bean. Voluptuousness snapping shut like a trap. You know it’s dangerous, yet you reach for it anyway. Like all great villains, you realize too late that Jezebel no longer asks—she demands. And by then, you’re in love with your chains.
A fragrance like a vertigo. A scent that tempts, that defies, and reminds us: transgression always has a price.
