Sweet mess
Interesting proposal by Anka Kus, specially in terms of storytelling and imprint of the label. However, the bottle and atomizer are a turd the size of Mount Everest.
Now the juice. Starts off with a vanilla-forward kick, and a very present fur-like, animalic nuance that reminds me of goat hair tincture. A bit messy, though.
However the drydown, oh boy, it's addictive and delicious. Smokey, sugary vanilla, extremely biteable and gourmand. Some balsamic notes from incense. And some salty spark from ambergris. I cannot stop sniffing myself. I wonder how people will react to this one. He claims there's oud mostafa from Ensar. I don't detect it distinctively, but if they are part of this beautiful blending, then let it stay in the composition.
If the phoenix thing he wanted to evoke is through a messy, freaking out burning death and decay, to then arise beautiful, strong and sharp, then hats off.
