Par Amour pour Elle Anthologie by Lucien Ferrero 2019

A beautiful, delicate floral, initially green, then becoming increasingly white. Seeing the hyacinth listed, I was expecting something relatively heavy, with an animalic undertone, but that's not the case at all.

The opening is downright vegetal, as if you're crushing white and purple petals between your fingers. What bothers me a little in this opening is the metallic whiff that overlays the botanical lushness. Interestingly, that metallic feeling lasts way longer if I apply the fragrance in the evening, immediately after showering, on still warm skin, than if I do it in the morning, while drinking my coffee.

Eventually the white flowers take over, I can clearly smell tuberose and orange blossom. They are clean and creamy, with no noticeable indoles, no mothball odor, and no chewing gum stuck in their hair.

Good performance, worth considering for floral lovers.

White floral perfume that is very, very strident. Somebody took Honour Woman and amplifies the green-sour aspect to a frequency that scratches my olfactory tympanum like a pair of sharp nails on a blackboard. It's intolerable and after a few minutes it becomes quite medicinal. It has a very strong silage: my partner, who is a very patient man (the poor man is MY partner, after all) has asked if I could wash it off because he couldn't take it anymore. An unnecessary request, because I had reached the same conclusion as him: a definite NO! We couldn't stand any of the stages, and the perfume was given enough time to evolve and change on my skin. It's almost like it was made by a very awkward man in love, who attempted unsuccessfully to make a white flower bouquet for his chosen one, from the most unsuitable flowers.

E insuportabil și după câteva minute devine aproape medicinal. Siaj foarte puternic: partenerul meu, un om destul de răbdător (adică, na, bietul om este partenerul meu la urma urmei) care nu se plânge decât foarte rar, m-a rugat dacă este posibil să mă spăl pe mâini că nu mai putea suporta parfumul acesta. De fapt, o rugăminte inutilă, pentru că și eu ajunsesem la aceeași concluzie, un NU! hotărât. Nici una dintre etape nu m-a încântat și i s-a dat destul timp să se dezvolte. Parcă a fost făcut de un bărbat nătâng, îndrăgostit, care, din "amour pour elle," a făcut un buchet din cele mai nepotrivite flori pentru aleasa lui.
