My Forever First Love
Does it make sense to write a review about a fragrance that hasn't been produced for about 16-20 years? No. Probably not. But I have to leave a love letter here because I still think about it, because I just can't let go after all these years. I miss it so terribly. Maybe it was just a first love that is better in my head than it was in reality - wild, daring, intense, bittersweet, unforgettable.
I was 14 when I first encountered it. It was love at first sniff. Hormones released that made my brain and body dance. Its presence filled the entire room - its allure akin to a magnetic field. I had to have it. I wanted it with me from that day on. In its company, I felt more confident, older, more experienced, even very sexy, although I was still quite innocent.
Unfortunately, production ceased between us, and our romance had to end.
Years later, I still think about the beautiful moments we shared. Sometimes these memories resurface, and I suddenly think of it out of nowhere. I can smell it all of a sudden; I can't explain it. Yesterday was one of those days, suddenly I just smell Surrender, and longing takes hold of me.
I miss it so much! I would love to experience it one more time - its warm embrace. It was truly almost perfect, perhaps only in my memory.
But unfortunately, that's all that remains for me.
I have been searching in vain for years for a substitute, a successor.
