More of the same
The parfum version of MYSLF takes some cues from the original, but introduces a sort of "dirtiness" to the white floral accord that reminds me of Reflection Man or Guilty Elixir de Parfum pour Homme. It improves the overall effect, but for me, there's no reason not to just get one of those two, where the white florals are more pronounced and the effect is bolder. MYSLF "Le" Parfum doesn't really know what it is. A male-oriented white floral statement-maker? A bland and boring Amberwood™? It splits the difference without being very good at either.

Still better than the uninspired utter tedium that is Myslf.

Modern everyday fragrance
Smells like a blue version of one million to my nose, can wear any time and it's classy with a YSL french touch. I've seen some people say they smell cinnamon and others say absolutely not, but i also get cinnamon. Feels like a great mix of cinnamon/orange blossom/amber wood.

I've been using it as a signature fragrance since i got it and it gets alot of positive attention. I used to own BDC Parfum and Y EDP and they're good and got similar attention but this beats them in that department. To me it also just smells better than any other blue fragrance at the moment. I'm comparing MYSLF to these fragrances because it has a very nice clean "shower gel" vibe to it, which i desire in an everyday fragrance.

Tested both this and the EDP version before buying and the Le parfum is deeper and lasts longer. I think the EDP would only be better in very hot sunny days.

Snobs on the internet that want to smell like ink and cumin won't like it, but if you just want to smell good i highly recommend you try it.

Bring the surprise
Great scent from opening thru the mid and the dry down EXCEPT. There is a funky smell in the dry down that’s in both Myslf Edp and MOR prominent in the Parfum. And I could not for the life of me figure out why women like this on men. To me it’s a barely noticeable but it’s there. Then one Saturday after a brisk walk with no deodorant or cologne on, I smell the same scent on me. This is crazy the smell from both myslf esp and parfum is a mildly sweaty man after a workout. This explains why I have women complement me more during the dry down. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a crazy bad smell just a mild sweaty musky scent mixed in. I still think it’s a banger tho and it pairs well with other scents and that sweaty smell always comes through.

Totally mediocre
Is it downright bad? No. Is it good? Not quite. It just has no personality, nothing that makes you want to wear it. I find it soulless, with a dull opening made by orange flowers and pepper that is barely bettered by the base notes of amber. A totally forgettable fragrance that, on top of that, lasts for a quite short time with very little projection and sillage.

It smells like a Jean Paul Gaultier that did not make it.

Hi, I am Pure Poison's Ex By the Way....
I am wearing a perfume oil version of this and I can get the orange blossom, a small dose of black pepper, jasmine (I think there must be, I think... with some cheeky musk), vanilla with a touch of amber and patchouli.

The orange blossom here is heavy with a dash of jasmine and if I am not entirely wrong, I kinda get a Dior Pure Poison vibe to my nose.

I have tasted Pure Poison before giving it out and loved it, so I am so glad that YSL is bringing back the memories.

I love it myself. It's not super unique but it's a great scent to try out. You will get the laundry vibes for a bit in the opening which is attributed to the Orange blossom and jasmine.

I don't know what the EDP smells like but I heard that owning both feels rather redundant so I think I will just stick with this bad boy.

Also, I do think that this is versatile and can be perfectly be worn all seasons.

10/10. Fresh, sweet, simple, signature worthy. very versatile because of that orange blossom and vanilla combination.

Great floral blend that is easy to like. Leans more feminine, I prefer smelling it on my partner instead of myself.

I was out of the fragrance hobby for years, but I smelled this randomly in a Sephora and immediately bought a bottle. Great masc floral

A softer version of the OG. Not necessarily better, since without the screechy Ambrox-bergamot, you only have another Orange Blossom scent.

Smelt fantastic on paper. Very floral and soapy on skin. Unenthusiastic and linear. No trace of vanilla, even hours after.

Better this time around, restrained and smoothed out! Pepper opening, is a welcome change. Not headache inducing to me like EdP…

Sweet, fresh, floral, yet still masculine. It could have easily been continued as part of the Y line.
