A beautiful green scent with woody notes and a pleasant spiciness
Chanvre Sauvage is a beautiful green scent that comes across as pleasantly fresh. The fruity, citrus notes simply provide that certain freshness. But the fragrance has even more to offer. It possesses a pleasant spicy character, woody notes, and a great patchouli-vetiver mix.
The scent starts off a bit fresh and minimally fruity.
Somehow it has slight Terre d'Hermès vibes in this phase.
I haven't smelled Terre d'Hermès in a long time, but it immediately brought back memories of that fragrance. I own a super cheap scent that costs virtually nothing, called Tierra del Fuego by Real Time. The Tierra del Fuego is really not bad for its unbelievably low price, and this scent is inspired by Terre d'Hermès, so I could compare them side by side, and yes, Chanvre Sauvage does have similarities in the opening.
As this freshness becomes a bit milder, more of that green flair comes through.
Additionally, it now clearly gains spicy elements, but in a totally pleasant way. You can also directly sense the woody notes and this vetiver-patchouli mix.
Over time, the scent becomes drier, more robust, and takes on a pleasant incense touch.
Nice thing!
Longevity and sillage are also completely fine.
Who do I see wearing this scent?
I have to say this time; it is rather less unisex, but rather masculine.
