selena , let me speak to your team

finally got my tiktok sample and i’m so disappointed. smells just like vanilla ease by b&bw which i already have. i expected more and just better than just another basic vanilla fragrance. also could be similar to goddess but more softer and light. it’s not bad but smells just like 2 or 3 other ones i could think of. save your money.

My new favorite fragrance

I was immediately on fire when I heard what Rare eau de Parfum is supposed to smell like.for me the fragrance is perfection through and through.I love everything about it and in it ;-) I myself find it pleasantly spicy (I don't like it when a fragrance is too spicy).the spice comes through for me right at the beginning (pink pepper).for me pistachio and caramel come directly to it which is why it quickly smells pleasantly creamy.it is compared to another fragrance that I also have and love very much.However, I like this one more because it is more coherent for me so I also find the dry down a lot better (powdery - creamy-sweet).a fragrance that I can wear in the fall while walking in the woods but also at home cuddled up in a warm blanket with cocoa in my hand.I like the gentle spray mist that lays on the skin like a light robe.the bottle is great and can be closed.I got two layering balms and have three scents directly.LOVE

Unfortunately somewhat disappointed

And it's not because the scent isn't pleasant, but I have to be honest, I have Burberry Goddess (which I also like to wear) and when I spray it on, they smell 1:1 the same on me. Rare is a little softer and slightly more sugary on my skin but really minimal. I also hardly notice the ginger note. The longevity also leaves a lot to be desired, after about 2 hours it becomes very skin-like.
I was expecting something different and am glad I only ordered a small bottle. Of course not a bad fragrance in itself but if you own the Goddess you don't need to buy it in addition in my opinion. I haven't tested the balms yet.

Wood/ginger/pepper are sharply fresh at first. After 30mins it gets cozy. Woody/nutty/edible vanilla scent. Perfect accessible bottle.

a warmly spiced vanilla with soft sandalwood and cozy warmth. Simplistic and not too heavy on the ginger, just a comfy vanilla

I caught a warm spicy ginger smell within seconds. Not a sweet gourmand or basic vanilla scent as all had said. Complex & not a celeb playing it safe.
