Funky Love bilou 2023

Even though it's supposed to be a dupe of "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Eau de Parfum) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian," I really like "Funky Love | bilou."

Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum is one of my absolute least favorite fragrances, alongside Alien Eau de Parfum and Libre Eau de Parfum…
Dentist, disinfectant, chemistry lab. That's what I smell…
A saffron nightmare with a lot of synthetic notes…

But who would have expected that Bibi would somehow do it better? I certainly didn't…

The #bilou is more playful, a bit sweet (which everyone claims about the BR, but it’s not true at all… not even in the fragrance pyramid does it mention anything sweet) and somehow softer, more balanced. As if those synthetic-clinical notes were removed and replaced with delicate and sweet vanilla.

For me, this is clearly the better BR! Stone me for this statement, but I stand by it xD

Unfortunately, the longevity is really not that great… I have to admit that. But still, I find it super and enjoy wearing it from time to time.
