Finally, for a change, a natural Artisan brand that also offers great summer fragrances! This is remarkable for me, as most houses focus largely on oud, florals & animalics, and I can only do the former. This makes me all the happier to serve one of my favorite genres, summer fragrances.
Quality is a top priority for the German label Nebiru Parfvms by self-made perfumer Frederic Gieselbach, who launched his first works in 2024, because he uses the rarest natural raw materials that our planet has to offer. Their beauty and diversity are also noticeably reflected here. Even oils from Ensar Oud are used here, just to make it clear once again! This also makes the quantities lower than larger chains & you better be quick, because as I said, quality over quantity applies here.
Agrias Vetiveris is first and foremost, as the name suggests, an excellent vetiver fragrance.
Here it has been interpreted in a very summery way :
The opening is determined by the hesperides, very citrusy, slightly sour and tart, which is further enhanced by the spicy ginger and neroli. This is already maximum refreshment in its most natural form, the juices are squeezed out directly. The contrasting, spicy warmth of the cardamom has been so brief that it is no longer worth mentioning in my favor in this bright construct, because I need FRESHNESS !
Arriving at the heart, there are pyramid-faithful fine, natural tea aromatics. Slightly spicy, very deep & slightly bitter (cleverly enhanced by the petitgrain), freshly brewed, this smoky aura flows. The tart neroli is appropriately continued by the clean orange blossom in the heart, so that the freshness remains intact. A very clean, yet deep & meditative tea experience !
The base, which gives the fragrance the necessary depth and longevity, is also impressive: a blend of several vetivers of the highest quality, which showcases the most beautiful facets of the raw material for me. Earthy, woody & balsamic, lightly grassy & never too darkly smoky or bulky. The slightly earthy spiciness of patchouli & the very soft, all-fixing oakmoss are calmly but noticeably subordinate All in all, a great, natural & pleasant fragrance experience full of noticeable gradients & depth, which is very rare in summer fragrances. Much more successful, because fresher & free of powder or cream like other Artisan citrus vetivers (e.g.
Blue In Green) for me, that's how it goes !
Nebiru Parfvms really made a lasting impression on me with the first fragrance he tested. From the selection of high-quality raw materials to the skillful, smooth blending with them & the fair price on top, everything here is almost perfect. I am very optimistic about the future of the brand & am very excited to see what else awaits us in the future!
