Infinite Navy Câline 2022

I'm trying my hand at a first review. I don't have a particularly trained nose yet, but thanks to Parfumo, I've smelled quite a bit - both popular and absolute niche fragrances.
The top note seems to fade relatively quickly and is indeed similar to Le Male.
I won't call it a dupe (and I don't for any perfume), because it's simply not possible to replicate the formula or it may not be intended to be replicated, even if it has more or less already leaked.

I've always liked Le Mâle Eau de Toilette very much. In 2020, maybe even in 2021, it was my summer scent before the popular Imagination came along, and I preferred to move towards Pomelo Sorrento and fruitier areas.
In 1995, I was still a small child, and since I'm the only one in my family who has dived so deeply into the Parfumo souk...
A few days ago, the internet led me to this fragrance.
I didn't want to add a full original bottle of Le Male to my collection, as it's already very summer-centric. But for 7 €, you can save a bit elsewhere and still get another bottle.

I've never been much of a drugstore scent person, to the point that I scoured all my known perfumery websites for this one and just couldn't find a Caline. Wait a moment? Did I really get a drugstore scent? Exactly from the display line where you occasionally test something, but never really find it good and then move on?
Yes, it seems so. So off to DM and collected some Payback points.
On-site, I didn't test it because I can't. In drugstores and even in perfumeries, everything distracts me. These stores have such a distinct smell that it's impossible for me to smell anything, and to make a decision, I need to know that I'm only smelling this one, right after applying it. 7 € is also bearable as a blind buy; if necessary, it can go back on eBay for 1 €.

I had already read that it has similarities with Le Male, so I expected Le Male, and the opening was indeed Le Male, but a bit more intrusive. The thing I criticize about many drugstore scents is present here as well. They hit you right in the nose, they don't bow to you or introduce themselves politely, but chase you like a vacuum cleaner salesman who still hasn't understood after the fifth time that you already have a vacuum cleaner. You just don't have a stain on the carpet that the salesman can quickly remove before you throw him out of your home in a high arc...
Well, it's just drugstore, that's how it has to be.

A few hours later, I perceive more of a vanilla note. Synthetic vanilla should also be relatively cheap. The rest is cinnamon and what I would call amber, but I still don't have a clear idea of amber because I haven't smelled that type isolated and alone yet.
The longevity is decent. Fresher scents like Pomelo Sorrento from Gritti last much shorter.

In conclusion, I can say that there are similarities with Le Male, which is already indicated by the packaging design. But as with every fragrance, it's simply the case that the original cannot be exactly replicated.
For this price, however, it's definitely something worth having. It now sits in my cabinet next to the completely different Missoni Wave and the formerly hyped Zara Sunrise.
