Refreshment once more with green tea
End of June: it is grey and cold, the heating gurgles quietly and gives off welcome warmth.
The sun should not come in until the afternoon for a few hours.
In front of the windows: Impressions in grey - a watercolour of monotony!
So today I dream of heading south again; to Italy, the home of my soul!
There around Sorrento I would like to be now so much: blue sea glistening in the sun; steep rock walls, at which picturesque villages stick, much aromatic green and each quantity of old-fashioned, well-smelling Limonerien!
This picture in my inside warms already something.
"Pomelo Sorrento" I will not spray on today; it is a wonderfully refreshing and cooling fragrance. That would not be at all appropriate with me frostbite.
So I stick with my warming scent of the day.
But nevertheless "Pomelo Sorrento" belongs to my today's picture of fantasy.
Refreshing, very strong green tea is accompanied here by ripe, fruity and very juicy grapefruit.
Their light bitter note gives an additional freshness kick!
Typical full-flowered fragrant roses - so completely untouched by any kind of artificiality - generously give away their sun-drenched aroma to a "warm" top note.
The previous dosage is so skilful that this creation meets all the requirements of a unisex fragrance. How light the rose seems a little too feminine.
Here it is the rounding element: it hides any excess acid!
Because both green tea and grapefruit can often cause stomach aches; the usual acid problem. But luckily here we have the calming rose!
Such a summer joy that doesn't prickle your nose.
This fragrance is very airy and light: it still lacks depth, something down-to-earth.
But also here the perfumers of Dr. Gritti prove a lucky hand.
They rely on the tried and tested, but by no means old-bake: a beautiful earth bond is created by the skilful dose of Vertiver.
Also the iris plays in there: for me it always smells a little musty, earthy-moosy.
Thus a successful basis for the well-known and beloved "Amber-Leuchten" is created.
Because only now "Pomelo Sorrento" reaches the state of more than "fresh-fruity summer scent".
It is round and very harmonious.
This distinguishes "Pomelo Sorrento" for me from many other summer scents based on green tea.
The shelf life corresponds to that of many fresh fragrances: it stays within the good average.
When the fragrance has balanced, it remains unchanged. This makes after-spraying easy; there are no breaks, as is sometimes the case when "New" meets "Old".
So "Pomelo Sorrento" is a wonderful, uncomplicated companion through summery warmth, even heat!
A fragrance that cools and refreshes, but still retains a certain nuance of the non-everyday.
So it's really worth keeping this fragrance on your watchlist for summer moments to come!
The generous bottling will accompany me in any case.
Now all you need is sun and warmth - just the right summer!
