candied leather?!
Halvah (sesame candy) with orange blossom. Candied leather. Not unpleasant but odd. Makes me picture a big clump of cotton candy (candy floss) stuck to a leather couch. Not my thing. (050209)

Grapes & Vinyl
This is a strange one; reading the notes does not give a good idea of what it smells like. It opens with a blast of syrupy bubblegum grape and burning vinyl (not leather). The disparateness of the light and bubbly (grape) and the dark and dry (vinyl) is at the center of what makes me incessantly sniff at my wrist to make sense of it. Unfortunately there is a dusty/ashy quality to the scent that hampers my enjoyment of it. It seems to be more prominent the closer to the skin this is sampled.

Old Shisha Tobacco?
This is quite a strange scent. Somehow it reminds me of a package of shisha tobacco that has seen better days.
I can even perceive the "fragrance note" of the occasionally rinsed shisha hose with red wine (or beer?) as well as the smell of self-lighting charcoal, incredible!
I find the opening overall brutal, but over time it becomes quite pleasant. Cuir Venenum is for me a citrusy-sticky scent with leather notes and spices - I probably wouldn't wear it - but it is certainly an interesting olfactory experience.

Sticky Orange Syrup?
In this perfume, a dark, sweet orange note stands out above all. It rests on an intense base where myrrh plays a role.

Myrrh seems to me to be a magical ingredient in perfume formulations, as I usually enjoy scents that list myrrh as a component.

The fragrance radiates to me the calmness and opulence of a magnificent summer sunset. Due to this intensity and character, I tend to wear it occasionally for myself when I'm not around others.

Beer... Cointreau... Witch's Brew... What is it then?
What a strange scent. Indefinable, peculiar, repulsive and yet somehow good.
Somehow I can't find an entry point to this fragrance. It presents me with a riddle. I can't smell either coconut or lemon here. And thank God the leather stays hidden in the background. I'm really not a fan of leather scents, after my olfactory horror experience with Daim Blond and Cuir Mauresque by Serge Lutens.
I think the scent smells like Cointreau/Triple Sec. That's a pretty high-proof, quite sweet orange liqueur that I personally find quite terrible. Although beer fits here too; my predecessor mentioned stale beer, yes, flat and lukewarm.
I can't think of much to say about it, the scent remains somehow closed off to me...
Do I like it? I answer this question with a very clear no.
Nevertheless, I remain a great admirer of the brand Parfumerie Générale.
The longevity of CV is super, by the way; this beer note becomes stronger the longer the fragrance stays on the skin.

Smells like beer. Not freshly drawn, but disgustingly stale and sticky-sweet. Upsets the stomach, and wearing it feels like a hangover. :(

I never thought I would smell a leathery coconut again, but these two components dominate.

Altbier punch in a bar in a beautiful, old town. Peter Wilhelm is already telling stories, but whether you want to wear them...

I'm also for Bierbankmuff. It has a slight orange fizz. It could also fit a more natural smoker's home, 70s, hardly ventilated? Very authentic.

A sweet, dark orange with a lemon note - a dream start... then fine leather and the shock of beer smell! No, thanks.

Sweet leather is gradually complemented by a caramel note, accompanied by quite animalistic musk. Wear-no, interesting-yes.

CV is like a herd of horses on the racetrack, where one horse (=fragrance note) suddenly breaks loose and gallops off. Leather crashes the race.

4711, Neroli galore - a bit waxy - and such a horrible musk > greasy/oily, no way! If it at least smelled a bit like coconut, but unfortunately not!

1. Sweet-fruity-cold cigarette ash~ELDO Divin'Enfant. 2. Sillage tones down, more bitter fruit, leather + wax come through, smoke dominates,
