realistic oatmeal cookies

oatmeal cookies in a wonderfully eclectic way. i blind bought a 10ml of this alongside a bunch of other things from this house and again i’m so in love! i was expecting a cloying aspect but there’s absolutely none, sweet but in a grounded and well orientated way! initial impressions get a burst from the chamomile which i enjoy – makes me feel like i’m being steeped in a tender chamomile cream tea rain and being fed oatmeal cookies by a warm fire. the raisins are also definitely present which is really nice because i’ve never smelt raisin in perfume, honestly makes it a photorealistic oatmeal cookie to me.

absolutely love this perfume and since it’s cold and went the majority of time where i live ( england ) i can get the full use out of this! even then, i don’t think this would be cloying in any sense as it’s not ridiculously sweet and the blend is so lovely.

not sure if i’d get a full bottle of this but the 10ml is a nice way to experience it! :)

Warm Cookies and Tea

On paper and skin, the oatmeal raisin cookie and brown sugar is more prevalent. On hair, warm lavender chamomile tea is prevalent. Overall, there is something reminiscent of how Lush handles sweet, warm, and earthy scents. My mother thought the opening was similar to American Cream. I don’t see that similarity, but there is something spa-like.

Edit: now that I’ve worn it a few more times, I’ve really grown to appreciate it. I smell like a sweet cup of herbal tea in the best way, and the chamomile is very present in a way I don’t believe is easy to find. I think pairing it with a woody scent would be nice.

Earthy gourmand

This smells slightly different on each of my wrists: on the left, I get the most delicious oat cookie dipped into a brown sugar latte; on the right, the raisin comes through a bit more, and I get a sugared chamomile tea. Both facets of this perfume are incredibly interesting and cozy. I haven't smelled anything like this before. This is a skin scent with very little projection for me, and I would likely wear it to bed.

Triumph of the Oatmeal Cookie

I remember getting teased in high school because I would pack an oatmeal cookie with my lunch. They didn't understand my love for the complex flavoring and natural chewiness of that cookie, versus an overly sweet and fairly linear chocolate chip. This scent smells a little like victory. Its an approachable gourmand that doesn't immediately register as a gourmand. Its an oatmeal cookie made with maple, a little bit of spice, and chewy raisins. The raisin smells like the raisins you used to get in the little red box of Sunmaid. Its paired with an earthy tea to balance out the sweetness. This is a cozy scent that is warm and sweet but grounded. The kind you want to wear while reading a book under your favorite fuzzy blanket.

This has some lift off the skin but not much. That is okay because it is glued to your skin for at least 6 to 7 hours. There are a couple of options for sizes and pricing starting at 5ml rollerball for $22, 10ml EDP atomizer for $30, and 30ml EDP atomizer for $65.

oatmeal raisin cookie realness

I took a suggestion from Reddit and visited Cirrus' website and eagerly got a sampler pack, Chamomile Cafe is the first one I've tried and I can already tell this brand is FIRE. The scent smells almost exactly like oatmeal raisin cookies right out of the oven. It's warm, comfy and spicy. On me, it smells a little bit more mature than what I typically wear, but I am most certainly gonna go through that sampler bottle in a matter of days. The cookie and raisin is the strongest on me, the chamomile is there but waaaay the bottom. I don't pick up on the tuberose at all, but perhaps it's just evenly blended? A truly unique and beautiful scent, I can't wait to explore the rest of that sampler :)
