Creamy Cashewdream
As the title subtly suggests, the cashew nut note takes center stage here. There's no getting around it. Of course, it's a perfect fit if you like this note and, like me, are perhaps discovering it for the first time in the world of perfumes. Because there are currently only 21 perfumes in which this note is still listed.
The nutty note is particularly dominant at the beginning and interacts with the sweetness of the cocoa. I can't say exactly which predominates more, the nutty note or the slightly chocolatey sweetness. Other associations that came to mind at the start were caramel macchiato and hazelnut liqueur.
As it develops, the sweetness becomes slightly weaker and interacts with the iris root to create a very creamy effect. Not at all offensive, but rather accompanying, like a freshly applied skincare product.
This creaminess remains until the fragrance slowly fades away. The result is a long-lasting fragrance with a slightly above-average sillage.
The fragrance is perfect for fall and winter days. Simply for days when you get closer to others (family, colleagues, partners, friends).
Finally, I just have to say a few words about the bottle. I appreciate the simplicity of many bottles—the clean, modern design. I'm not the biggest fan of the orange gradient, but the bottle looks original and you can tell that someone had an idea and put it into practice. The transparency of the glass is very well done. The color is covering at the top and becomes increasingly transparent in the color gradient. Perfect for me, because especially when the bottle is running low, I want to know: How much is left? That makes sense!
It would be a crime not to mention why I'm going on such a long rant about the bottle itself – the lid, the cap.
I have never seen a more beautiful one on a perfume. The power on one side and the finely granular representation of a landscape on the other allow you to immerse yourself in the creative ideas and thoughts of the perfumer.
I also appreciate the pragmatic aspect that the dotted design makes the cap easy to grip, combining user-friendliness and aesthetics.
All in all, a wonderful fragrance full of new impressions accompanied by a bottle that is pure art in itself.
