Date and saffron - Fresher take on gourmand

found them in the famous Harrods in London

While sampling some fragrances, Dubai caught my attention. Man this is such a great scent

Gourmandy sweet date note with a bit of saffron and a beautiful warm amber and vanilla base It starts a little fresher than your usual gourmand with a bit of a mandarin orange note
It's fits the name 'Dubai' pretty well, capturing the sweet oriental desert vibe

This is warmth and elegant sweetness in a bottle - really nice to feel cozy and hugged ️
You can wear this easily as an everyday scent.

Performance is okay - it's not a loud scent per se, however it stays very long on skin

I'll break it down and it's actually already been noticed by most people here, it's the beautiful Moonlight But the Dubai comes in a somewhat toned-down form It is more suitable for everyday use in my eyes and suitable for the whole year round, where the Moonlight is more suitable for the colder seasons like fall and winter.
Dubai is a fragrance that smells like dates and a lot of oriental sweets.
The amber in the base makes everything seem even warmer and softer.
It's not a clumsy sweet perfume, it's a sweet fragrance with style.
If you like Moonlight, you will also like this fragrance.

Contes de Parfums - Dubai is a powdery, sweet-spicy saffron fragrance with memories of the BR540.
The fragrance is very pleasing, beautiful and elegant.

The fragrance starts directly with this sweet saffron note. Saffron brings that certain spice and the dates including the listed sweets, as well as the amber-vanilla mix from the base make the saffron come across sweet and powdery.

Over time, it becomes more and more powdery and otherwise the DNA remains the same for me, except that the intensity gradually decreases.
In my opinion, the progression of the fragrance can therefore be described as fairly linear, but I don't think that's a bad thing at all.

I'm actually not a big Baccarat Rouge fan, or rather I haven't been for a long time. But this fragrance has actually managed to make me like this type of fragrance again.

Dubai is simply pleasant throughout, serious, elegant, beautiful and simply pleasing.
I think this fragrance is relatively easy to like.

The performance is perfectly fine. I even found the longevity to be really good. It lasts about 8-10 hours on me. It is a little weaker in projection, but still not bad.

The first time I applied Dubai by Contes de Parfums, I was immediately transported to another world. The sweet, date-like note enveloped me and reminded me of the lively streets of Arab cities, where the air is filled with delicious sweets and saffron. The saffron in particular gives the fragrance an exotic depth that immediately captivated me.

After a short time, Dubai developed further - the sweet note turned into a warm, spicy vanilla, which gives the perfume a sensual aura. It's like wearing the essence of the Orient on your skin - not dry and harsh like the desert, but lush and sweet, like the sugar-syrup-soaked treats you find on the streets of Arab countries.

A very slight resemblance to Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum might be perceptible at first, but as soon as the vanilla kicks in, this impression quickly dissipates.

The longevity of Dubai is good, the fragrance accompanies me throughout the day, never intrusive, but always present, like a delicate, sensual aura. Every time I wear this fragrance, I am reminded of festive days in faraway countries, where scents, spices and sweet delicacies fill the air and enchant the senses.

A really nice alternative to the otherwise very direct oriental perfumes.

When you apply this fragrance, the first thing you notice is a sweet, spicy saffron scent that is clearly reminiscent of BR 540 but not as strong. This is then followed by sweet fruit candy that trails a wave of floral accords. To give the perfume depth, vanilla and patchouli are added to reduce the femininity and make it unisex. The musk, which also has a say here, makes this fragrance slightly dry and powdery.

The durability and silage are good.

Here we have an oriental unisex fragrance that is wearable from the mid-20s and is open at the top. Except for very hot days, this perfume is always wearable. During the day, in a toned-down form, it can be worn in the office, at a meal, a meeting, in a coffee shop or even when shopping. In the evening, it can be worn at the opera, a concert, in a bar, at dinner or in a club.

If you like a sweet, spicy saffron scent with sweet candies with fruits and floral, slightly dry, powdery accords that still have a little woody vanilla, you're in good hands here.
