The floral cardamom fragrance of my dreams
At first spray I’m getting all fresh green cardamom (one of my favorite notes!) and a honeyed floral. Maybe honeysuckle? Ahh, mimosa and heliotrope, both of which have sweet, powdery scent profiles. That makes perfect sense. This is such a gorgeous fragrance so far and makes me want to test the original Jo Malone!
2 hours on and while the cardamom remains strong, smooth, creamy tonka and sandalwood has been woven into the composition. It’s grounding the fragrance, but it’s still a fresh and sweet floral scent at its core.
6 hours on and it’s mostly faded, but I’m satisfied with that longevity. Overall I really like this. It’s incredibly wearable and versatile. It’s fresh enough to be work appropriate (if not over-sprayed), but rich and warm enough to work for a date night. I also think it would be appropriate year-round, though I think it would work the best in transitional seasons like Spring and Fall. I definitely want to get a sample of Mimosa & Cardamom to compare with this dupe!
