A musky, earthy & damp woody, floral scent

Huaxia - opens with a blast of sambac jasmine, sichuan pepper & hainan oud right from the get-go.
Then, after 30 minutes in, it mellowed down and the floral & freshness notes enhanced by the support of neroli & osmanthus, then the musk kicks in (I suspected it's mongolian musk used here, the musk isn't offensive like foul-smelling at all), and then all elements started lingering without overpowering one another before it quickly transitions to musky, earthy & damp woody facets from the heart to the drydown while the jasmine still maintained its position and hidden in the background throughout.

A fragrance built with good quality materials at its finest; Huaxia is about the floral musk elements, with aged Chinese Hainan oud oil.

The longevity is extremely solid

Jasmine oud

A beautiful blend of indolic jasmine and Chinese oud. Oud used here is of high quality. But an opulent jasmine reigns supreme over this composition that purrs with musky ferocity.
The result is an amazing floral oud bouquet that pierces through the citrus top notes and lies on a bed of musk that brings it all together.
Quite lovely in an old fashioned way!

Huaxia was the first perfume created by Ahmed in this collection.
In Chinese, this name reflects many things: it represents the culture, the ancient civilizations, and the diversity of the Chinese people.
The fragrance is based on musky, oudy, floral aspects.
Jasmin sambac, Osmanthus, Neroli on the one hand and Kashmiri deer musk, wild Hainan Oud on the other.
Lights and shadows.
Huaxia play on contrasts between the brighter side represented by the flowers, through the pungent musk to the Chinese oud with its pronounced medicinal, "bitter sweet," floral, but at the same time "light and airy" faces.
It is a fragrance that has no jarring points, where all the ingredients complement each other and where the combination of chinese oud - deer musk provides a very solid and particular structure to the composition.
