Welcome to the Candyland
~ Inspiration ~
I received this perfume as an extra in a package. I have tested a few Essence fragrances at DM before, but found them too alcoholic and shallow, and the longevity left a lot to be desired...
~ Bottle ~
Round and flat.
In my opinion, the design appeals more to a younger audience. The name "Like the Party of my Life" is prominently displayed on the bottle, with the word PARTY highlighted in a purple leopard pattern ("A Day in a Candyshop" would have suited it better. That one could have been called Chocolate-Land). It has a sweet, dusty pink ribbon around the neck.
~ Scent ~
It smells very sticky-sweet, like fruity candies, sugar, vanilla, caramel, and has that cotton candy note that I really like :)
~ Longevity ~
On my skin, it lasts quite well for 4-5 hours (on clothing and hair even longer). 1-2 sprays are enough, as the scent is very overpowering, synthetic, and intense.
~ Occasion ~
It fits best in the colder days of autumn and winter. I wouldn't describe it as a party scent - more of a cozy scent!
~ Conclusion ~
It smells exactly like "Pink Sugar Sensual" by Aquolina to me. While I do like the scent, I don't need it doubled up...
