Apple-Peach Hair Spray
Today at dm!
I actually just want to buy cat food, I'm feeling nauseous and a migraine is coming on.
Then I come up with the idea to test another fragrance from the Like a... series by essence. Because the summer rain has put me in ecstasy and jumping into the pool isn't so bad either (still, the latter will have to wait, a report will follow soon). I want to give one of those a chance.
I spray Like a Rollercoasterride on and let it unfold briefly while I fill my basket with cat food and stroll over to the shampoo section.
All very relaxed (nausea + headache)
I sniff my wrist and smell grapefruit. Ok, that's not listed in the pyramid. Then it must just be a very tart, sour apple variety.
A little later, peach.
Ok, grapefruit-like apple with peach, not particularly sweet, .... wait a bit longer (5 min) and then the acidity fades away and it becomes slightly, just slightly creamy. And a hairspray-like, so very simple floral note joins in.
Overall, not so bad!
I think, why not, I'll take a small bottle with me. (10 ml, about 3 euros)
A little later, sandalwood emerges very subtly in the background. I'm very pleased, it makes the fragrance a bit more mature in my eyes.
A tiny hint of vanilla, hardly noticeable to me, rounds it all off a bit.
Now I'm back home, have taken 2 ASS and draw a conclusion:
This fragrance is probably not the best in the series, but I wouldn't call it bad either. A little nicety for myself on a headache day. A nice little addition to my collection. I'm not really into fruity scents, although I wish I were. If I ever feel like it, this one fits. It smells somehow like I showered with peach shower gel and then used apple hairspray (but not much).
Subtle, but not really uninspired. Simple but not really boring. Not too sweet or floral or fruity or too sour or anything else. A nice floral-fruity-fresh scent for in between.
Fits for teens at school or even for the office.
