This is what the Cocoa Puffs mascot would wear if he had a Barney Stinson-esque, suit wearing glow up; or if he was a 1960's ad man competing with Sterling Cooper Draper Price for the Hershey's account.

Pair this with a dark suit in winter, hit the Midtown or Lower Manhattan speakeasies for some late night brooding over a nice cocktail, and catch the coquettish, enthralled gazes from the female patrons as they grab a nearby bar seat and start speculating about what fragrance you're wearing.

Willy Wonka's Scent

It was one of those gray winter days when the cold pierced through the coat like fine needles and the streets seemed still, as if the world had held its breath. I pulled my scarf tighter, and at that very moment, I brushed the scent of Île Bourbon onto my wrist.

With the first breath, a dark, velvety warmth opened up like the first bite of a piece of dark chocolate, still warm from the hand that offered it. The cinnamon flashed like a secret smile, spicy and vibrant, while in the background, the cardamom glowed, green and mysterious.

The longer I wore it, the more it transformed into a quiet embrace. The Bourbon vanilla softly enveloped the sharpness of the spices, as creamy and soothing as a glass of hot chai by a fireplace. The incense, however, that hint of smoke, slightly cool and spiritual, reminded me that beauty can be not only sweet but also mysterious.

With Île Bourbon, I strolled through the cold, yet around me, a small island formed an island of warmth, security, and elegance that accompanied me, even as night had long fallen. The scent stayed with me like a story that one doesn't finish reading because one doesn't want it to end.

Smoky chocolate

Today I had the chance to test Île Bourbon in a perfumery. Great recommendation;)
When it was sprayed on the test strip, I thought: wow, this is chocolate cake wrapped as a gift.
Later, I was able to test it on my skin. At first smoky, dark, chocolaty, spicy - it reminds me of a type of praline. In the dry down sweet, cuddly, pleasing. I find Île Bourbon very nice for colder days.

THE Chocolate Scent

I love gourmand fragrances and have tried a few chocolate scents as well.
I have to stick my neck out and say that Île Bourbon is, for me, chocolate in perfection and the most beautiful scent that contains the note of chocolate, as of now.
Île Bourbon is velvety, rich chocolate, sprinkled with beautiful spices and the finest vanilla.
An absolute autumn dream.
The scent makes you crave a juicy chocolate cake.

Cozy Winter in a Bottle

Beautiful chocolate-vanilla-incense scent that is not too sweet thanks to the clove and cardamom, but really pleasant and spicy, perfect for the colder days in winter. And luckily, it doesn't stick.

The longevity is very good for me, I can still smell it the next day, which is really nice when waking up. :D

Value for money is something everyone has to decide for themselves, but I am satisfied with it, after all, you get an Extrait de Parfum, a scent that I personally find great, it lasts long enough, and the sillage is perfectly sufficient for me. The only thing I would wish for is that smaller bottles would also be offered, I seriously doubt that I will finish 100ml xD.
