Sweet, Versatile

Gisou Honey is such a reliable scent to me. So easy to pair with any sweet/feminine perfume and lasts on the hair. It's more of a subtle cue that you smell nice rather than something that stands out to be conscious of, and I like the impression it gives off more than the scent itself. The bright floral and orange are present but smoothed out by the honey so that it doesn't bring on a sneeze like a loud floral might as it sits right around your face. I get orange blossom upon initial spray, and I'm a little hesitant to anything that hints at orange blossom, but find this to be a great softer alternative to that scent profile. Mostly, all that lingers is almost like a honey scented, nostalgic body wash kind of scent.

Sweet honey & pungent mandarin

I became aware of Gisou products because they were often shown in "Be that girl" videos by US influencers. I was quite curious and was happy to test the hair perfume by chance at Sephora. My first impression: delicious, but not particularly so at first. In the evening, I noticed how good my hair still smelled. That's when I knew I needed it. The price hurt me a little, I thought it was quite high for a small bottle of hair perfume. But the saleswoman reassured me: the fragrance is oil-based and therefore particularly rich and long-lasting. I would confirm that. Sprayed on freshly washed, dry hair, it lasts until the next hair wash 2-3 days later.
The fragrance is difficult to describe. At first it smells sweet and like honey, then an almost pungent, artificial mandarin is added. Unexpected, but exciting. And above all delicious and irresistible to me. The fragrance remains constant in the hair, but hardly develops on the skin. The hair perfume is particularly suitable for warm days, but I couldn't wear it every day.

Fruity spring breeze

I have now used up a 100ml bottle of this hair perfume - and a new 50ml version is already waiting in the wings.
At the beginning, the Gisou fragrance is citrusy. A strong apricot soon joins in, as do necrar and flowers.
This is a fruity, fresh fragrance with a lovely sweetness, which I would attribute more to a target group up to young adulthood.
When I spray the fragrance into my hair, it doesn't necessarily waft around my nose permanently, but it can be detected for a few hours in the areas sprayed. H/S could definitely be better, but I think the price/performance ratio is quite appropriate.
For me, a good everyday fragrance, which is always appropriate in spring and summer.
