Percy Pig sweet, anyone?
Sweet Paradise has a really interesting chewy quality to it from that barley note.

Aside from that though, this smells almost exactly like Marks and Spencers' Percy Pig sweets. I do kinda like it though, it's comforting and a bit nostalgic.

Poor sillage and longevity currently, unless massively over-spraying.

Edit: it's been nearly a month and the top notes last for much longer and the sillage is now moderate for most of the wear time which is up to 6 to 8 hours now.

Like this perfume more than I thought I would and I wear it around the house surprisingly often. Also it layers so damn nicely with La Fin Du Monde and Celebrate For Her, too.

Peony Paradise
I am not a big fan of very floral heavy scents, but I love the smell of peonies.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to test Sweet Paradise beforehand, but sometimes the curiosity for a fragrance is so great that reason takes a back seat and I am tempted into a blind purchase when it is on sale.
Thanks to "Garnele," who was so kind to bring me a bottle, I could finally test Sweet Paradise and I do not regret this blind purchase at all, quite the opposite.

What I perceive first is peony.
Not a strong, intense, lush peony, but a very delicate, sweet, just bloomed fresh white peony.
Peach and mandarin join in, giving the fragrance a minimal subtle fruitiness. The fruity notes fade into the background after a short time and I perceive barley. It adds a slightly nutty touch to Sweet Paradise that unexpectedly pairs well with the floral notes.
In the drydown, the scent becomes creamy and pleasantly powdery with musk, reminding me of a very nice high-quality body lotion.
The scent progression remains mostly linear, with peony playing the main role from the opening to the drydown.

The longevity is unfortunately a bit disappointing. After about 4 hours, it is only perceptible close to the skin, which I find very unfortunate.

Sweet Paradise is a fresh-floral, very feminine, gentle, soft, and understated scent that smells beautifully well-groomed. It never becomes too much or clashes, making it the perfect companion for everyday life or the office.
Anyone who prefers sweet and not too intense floral scents should definitely give "Sweet Paradise" a try.

So beautiful, but so delicate
Sweet Paradise is not really that sweet for me, but rather creamy and floral.
The creaminess reminds me of Signature Eau de Parfum / Guidance Eau de Parfum. Like a beautiful expensive body lotion.
For me, the scent remains quite linear; I can hardly smell peony and rose at all. Mandarin, musk, iris, and tonka bean, on the other hand, are very noticeable.

Unfortunately, after about 3 hours, the scent is only close to the skin, simply a skin scent. Accordingly, the sillage is also very weak.

I have no comparison to Scarlet Poppy. But Sweet Paradise really smells heavenly, in my opinion also quite feminine. I would love to get a bottle to bathe in it, but the longevity and sillage ruin it for me. I would just be frustrated.

Floral Body Lotion Scent (Jo Malone Scarlet Poppy Dupe)
A few days ago, I tested it in Wuppertal and didn't find it good, but dear Peppermint insisted that I should bring it to her.

In the store, it simply smelled like slightly burnt popcorn.
There are people who love that, but I am not one of them.

In the meantime, I got to really test it, and one thing I can say is that the scent is not linear at all; on the contrary, it changes quite dramatically.

At first, I immediately perceive something that resembles popcorn. It’s probably due to the barley, even though that's actually in the base.
At the same time, I smell a very creamy musk that reminds me of body lotion, somehow pure and, as I said, quite creamy.

In the dry down, the barley takes a bit of a backseat and lets the floral notes take center stage.
At first, I didn't know what floral note I was perceiving, but after about 10 minutes, peony becomes the most prominent.
Together with the musk, which also in the dry down smells totally like pure body lotion, you have a floral, creamy, clean scent with a very slight sweetness.
The fruity notes are totally in the background.
They give the fragrance a subtly fruity touch without really imposing themselves.
Barley is perceptible until the end.

As for the performance, I would say it’s not a strong perfume.
More one for cuddling with a partner.
The projection is rather soft; you have to get close to the person wearing it to perceive it.

Is Sweet Paradise really feminine, or can it pass as unisex?
It is definitely a feminine scent (W85%/15%M).
And a perfume that you can actually wear in almost any season and situation.

My conclusion: unfortunately, it's too feminine for me.
I do occasionally wear scents that lean a bit feminine, but this one is just too female for me.
Still, it's not a bad scent; it has something.
Very pleasant scent DNA that doesn’t clash.

A great, more affordable alternative to Scarlet Poppy. It's not a 1:1 dupe since Sweet Paradise is a bit nutty and SP is softer/milder.

Starts off a bit rancid, nutty, then just floral stuff accompanied by powdery musk
It's okay…

Nutty, vibes of Guidance. Floral, creamy. A bit of tea? Body lotion? Very nice!

I agree with my predecessors. A good alternative to Scarlet Poppy. Creamy-grainy, with a bit of freshness. Well-groomed. No typical Arabic DNA.

Like Scarlet Poppy, very delicate and understated. Creamy, powdery
Reminds me of the scent of oat milk.
I like the fragrance.
