Cremiger Blütentraum für Männer und Frauen

Ich werde mich kurz fassen: Dieser Duft ist wunderschön: Er ist modern, aber doch mondän. Der Mohn und die Iris stehen im Vordergrund, aber die Tonkabohne gibt nach ein, zwei Stunden auch ihren Senf dazu; die Gerste verleiht dem ganzen den Feinschliff. Die Feige konnte ich jetzt nicht ausfindig machen, aber meine Nase ist auch noch nicht so geübt wie so manch eine andere. Die Noten verschmelzen in ein blumig-cremiges Prachtstück, das, meines Erachtens, jeder tragen kann, ob männlich oder weiblich, falls er/sie/* sich mit etwas weiblich angelehnten Düften wohlfühlt.
Auf meiner Haut bleibt der Duft mindest 10 Stunden erhalten; er ist teils sogar noch da, wenn ich am nächsten Morgen aufwache — eine Rarität für das Haus Jo Malone. Zum Layern ist er auch extrem gut geeignet; der Kreativität sind fast keine Grenzen gesetzt, nur vielleicht nicht mit Sécretions Magnifiques mischen :)

Creaminess in a bottle

I like the Jo Malone fragrances. Many criticize yes always the durability, but it is also just about Colognes and the airiness is simply part of the brand identity, are to be finally all beautiful with each other layer
Scarlet Poppy falls there so a bit out of the grid, because light and airy I find him not. Of course, he is also not a heavyweight (we are still talking about Jo Malone), but he differs in his way of making already clearly from the other fragrances, I find. As soon as you spray it on, you get the full creaminess. The ambergris seeds take no prisoners and are there immediately. They then also remain, because, I have to chalk up the fragrance unfortunately, a fragrance development he does not go through at least on my skin. Barley and fig read nicely (I love fig!), but none of that I can detect. There remains an engaging, warm creaminess without changing. The longevity is quite okay at 5-6 hours, with the projection quite restrained. A feel-good fragrance, especially now in the colder months. In summer, it would probably be too compact for me from the scent impression. By no means heavy, but just not so...airy, lightweight, breezy (somehow I can only think of English descriptions that reflect what I mean).
On the whole, something new from the house of Jo Malone and not bad, but you should not be blinded by the fragrance notes. For all who are looking for a warm, creamy fragrance without much frills to cuddle up but quite a recommendation. The bottle I find quite something misleading, red has often something wicked and awakens certain associations of a sexy, seductive fragrance - that is not Scarlet Poppy. It is designed more for sofa evenings alone or as a couple than for the grand entrance. But, that would have expected with Jo Malone probably anyway no one.

It’s good

I wasn’t sure about this perfume at first, and waited a little while before applying the sample to my wrists, making sure it was a couple hours before my shower in case I had to run to wash it off.

However, I’m happily surprised to really like it!

The scent is warm and soft, sweet and powdery floral, and a little bit sexy. I can smell the tonka bean, and cherry. To me it’s presenting a bit like TF Lost Cherry!

I keep smelling my wrists, and that’s a great thing, so I splurged on a bottle!
