Exquisite
Many sources attest that the real creator of Maraschino was Bartolomeo Ferrari, when he realised that by using marasca, a cherry with a juicy and slightly sour pulp, including leaf and nut, an exquisite liqueur could be created.
A liqueur that became the vaunt of the Venetian Republic, but also of the city of Zadar, appreciated by kings and queens all over Europe.
And let's be honest, this fragrance cannot be disliked. It is easy, simple, slightly sweet and with a very pleasant cherry (not sour cherry) undertone, balanced by the bitterness of the almond, by a splendid, creamy floral part, it is undoubtedly mass appealing.
It brings me joy, it is playful and fresh, really nice.
In my wishlist, too.
