Quite stale at the beginning and actually quite good at the end

Many thanks to Sören for the bottling of Oud Damascena :-) What can I say, if you can hold out for the first 3 to 4 hours, you will be rewarded with a quite successful fragrance in the end, but it is too stale and too expensive for me in the meantime. The longevity is strong at around 12 hours and the sillage is also quite lush.

The top note starts with a pronounced damask rose and citrusy hints of yuzu. This is followed by a stinky cowshed aroma of oud. This becomes really borderline in the heart note - "vacation on the farm vibes" come to mind. Rose water is also in play here and the fragrance gradually becomes quite smoky. Over time, however, this blatant oud animalism subsides. The base remains embedded in roses. This is joined by aromas of garden cloves and cloves with a hint of saffron.

In the end, the whole thing is too much for me. But if you like stinky fragrances like Kemi, for example, you could be really happy here.
