Simply swim, simply swim
When I was at the LV store about a year ago, one candidate particularly caught my attention. You’ve probably already guessed which one it was.
I was immediately taken with "Afternoon Swim | Louis Vuitton," which I sprayed on my hand and left the store filled with positive energy to wear it for a test. Such a positive, refreshing scent was rare for me. Unfortunately, the joy didn’t last long, as the longevity was disappointing. This ultimately nullified my purchasing decision.
So you can imagine how excited I was for "Midnight Splash | Monkoku," as all the other Monkoku fragrances I already owned had convinced me. It has now been longer than I mentioned since I tested its supposed inspiration. If my memory doesn’t completely fail me, I recognize clear parallels. But that’s only a minor detail, as what’s much more important is that this one also gives me the same feelings of happiness. So even when considered on its own, it’s a hit.
Throughout the experience, a refreshing mandarin hits you. Imagine the air unbearably dry and hot, and you long for an ice-cold drink. Then the first sip and that moment of refreshment and relief. You almost feel the urge to take a sip from the bottle (purely metaphorically, or else someone might actually do it).
The H|S is actually really amazing. I can perceive it clearly on me for over 7 hours continuously until it slowly fades intimately for another two hours.
It will definitely be rocked up and down in the summer, and Monkoku has delivered again. I think I’m turning into a fanboy.
