Best Dupe 2026?

While I was at Müller, I happened to discover the fragrance Bright Tabacco by Lou De Pre. I already knew that the scent was supposed to smell like Stronger With You Intensely, but I wouldn't have expected it to smell ALMOST 1 to 1 like it from a €15 perfume! I compared the fragrances and Lou De Pre has an additional almost imperceptible hint of cinnamon, which doesn't make it any worse! Deserved 9.5/10!

Excellent Price/Performance Ratio

When I was at Müller recently and walked past the perfume shelf, I suddenly remembered that Lou de Pre is supposed to be a dupe of Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille and decided to test it.
It was actually supposed to be Amber Flame, but due to the name, I mistakenly grabbed Bright Tobacco and after initial surprise that this was supposed to be Tobacco Vanille, I was very pleasantly surprised.

This €12 fragrance smells as high-quality as what the Arabs usually achieve for €30.
Fresh and warm at the same time. A little floral and a little gourmand.
Longevity is absolutely top-notch. Still noticeable after 8 hours.

If the quality of drugstore dupes continues like this, some very expensive designer fragrances will soon really only be status symbols.

I am meeting friends on a warm autumn day in October…

… in a Bavarian beer garden. We have settled under one of the many chestnut trees at a table that is not served. One person goes to get the beer while the rest of us unpack our snacks. Once everything is on the table, we catch fresh citrus as well as spicy sweet aromas in our noses. Along with the scent of the chestnuts and the trees. We enjoy the beer and the snacks and savor one of the last beautiful days.

Note: For those not from Upper or Lower Bavaria. There are beer gardens here with tables that are set and thus no outside food is allowed, and there are tables where this is permitted. However, only for the food; drinks must be obtained at the bar.

When applying this fragrance, the first thing you notice is a fresh citrus note that is quickly replaced by a spicy, slightly sharp floral accord. Then comes the scent of sweet chestnuts, which, although not listed in the fragrance pyramid, is clearly perceptible. To give this perfume a masculine twist, there is also a hint of woodiness, vanilla, and leather.

The longevity and sillage are good.

Here we have a men’s fragrance that strongly resembles Stronger with You Intensely by Armani. This perfume can easily be worn by women as well. I can easily imagine this scent for anyone from around 16 years old. Since it has a mature leather note, this perfume can also be worn by older individuals. During the day, it works well at school, university, at work, for coffee, while shopping, or on a walk, just as well as in the evening at the theater, opera, bar, club, ball, or even just for two.

Anyone who enjoys a fresh citrusy, spicy floral, woody, leathery, sweet chestnut-vanilla scent will find a great option here for very little money.
