Best Cheapie I have found so far. Bosskiller!
I don't think there's any denying that Powerful Black is supposed to be a dupe of Boss Scent. Like many inexpensive fragrances, it starts off very alcoholic. After a few seconds, however, a masculine, fruity top note develops, which is very tasty. Is it ginger in the top note? I can't identify it exactly, but ginger, and I hate ginger, but I really like the beginning. Could that be the maninka fruit? I don't know, what the hell is a maninka fruit anyway, but it smells very pleasant. The Boss Scent is slightly superior at the beginning and a bit more complex and versatile, but only recognizable in direct comparison. I doubt anyone could tell without comparison. But in general, I find the opening very appealing. After about 10 minutes, the fruitiness fades more and more and the leather, which was barely perceptible before, finally emerges. In my opinion, it could smell longer like it does in the first 5-10 minutes, then it would really be in my top 10 fragrances. I really like the fragrance, even if the original is not so well received everywhere. Unfortunately, as I said, it doesn't stay as it was at the beginning, but becomes a little calmer and more leathery. However, this makes it a very pleasant all-rounder. From the office to a date, maybe not necessarily at 35 degrees in the gym, but afterwards. So I think it can also be worn in summer, even if it is better suited to the other seasons. The lavender comes out more and more after about 20-30 minutes and the leather subsides a little. Suddenly it becomes sweeter again and a perfect companion for spring when the flowers are in bloom. In direct comparison, there is virtually no difference to the scent. Sometimes the gradient is slightly different, but I almost like the Caline better. And now we come to why I think it's the best affordable fragrance I've found so far, and if you want to call it a dupe, it's definitely in the Champions League. The Powerful Black is not only very similar, it also has a terrific opening (if you ignore the first alcohol note, about 30-60 seconds). It takes you on a fragrance journey for the first 60 minutes, varying from fruity and magical to leathery and masculine to fresh and spring-like, and then stabilizes into a pleasant all-rounder after 45-60 minutes. It smells great in my eyes. It's long-lasting like its Boss brother, not a beast, but a stable companion, not one that fades immediately, but after about 6 hours there's only a little sweet leather, even a little powdery, which is a little reminiscent of the end of Prada L Homme, but then the air is slowly out, from then on perfect for the office. And all for 6 euros?!?!? And available everywhere (DM and Rossmann). The only corner or edge it has is actually the not particularly ugly, but 0815 bottle. Who cares? You can take it with you on vacation, pack it in your backpack, put it in the car or buy it quickly in between if you need it for whatever reason. Price-performance is an absolute 10. For the price, it should generally be a 10, but since I would classify it as a clone (which I sometimes like better than the original), and yes, the fragrance should actually be rated and not the overall package, it becomes a 9, which comes up trumps in phases and then becomes a pleasant 8. The only negative is perhaps that it doesn't smell particularly complex and is no longer particularly special at the end, but it's still great. Spray it on your hand at the next DM and test the gradients. Also suitable as a blind buy for the money. Recommendation to buy? Yes, absolutely! The best fragrance in the world, no. But which one is.
That's enough babble.
Best regards, your DupeKing
