The hype - The price - The fragrance
The hype:
The fragrance is currently only sold in the in-house store and is not available online.
This naturally causes a stir and arouses curiosity.
Expectations are high, as it is supposed to be the successor or even an improved 2.0 version of the well-known and popular Orange Flamingo.
All this arouses desires and thus calls everyone on the plan who smells good business.
The price:
The question for me is whether the fragrance is worth the proud price.
Of course, everyone has to answer that for themselves. Unfortunately, it's not for me, but that also applies to its predecessor.
The fragrance:
So yes - it smells good (to my nose). But you have to like iris.
For me, the fragrance starts with a slightly tart iris note, which I find unpleasant and unrounded. From then on, however, the fragrance gradually improves. Softer, rounder and more gently powdery. Some warmth is added, but the fragrance is and remains rather unsweet. As it progresses, the iris becomes milder and more subtle. The fragrance transforms more and more into the original Orange Flamingo, but retains its iris-like quality in the background.
Conclusion:
A really beautiful fragrance - at least if you like iris. BUT by no means absolutely unique or novel. So unfortunately not worth the price and the hype for me.

Different than expected
First of all: I haven't liked any of Narciso Rodriguez's fragrances so far. Too boring, too dusty - simply not my DNA.
Even the rogdrigian musk, which is loved and praised by many, couldn't change that.
So when I was handed a strip of the latest...
