Purple Flamingo vs. Orange Flamingo
In my opinion, both fragrances have their own right to exist. Before the Purple Flamingo came the Orange Flamingo. Both smell similar, but not the same.
Fact 1: Both fragrances are perfumes that smell like "fresh laundry in summer and possibly VERY intrusive depending on the number of sprays".
Fact 2: Both fragrances have the same DNA. You can smell this immediately if you have smelled both fragrances before. They don't smell identical, but very similar. I imagine a spring-like to summery picture in my mind's eye, which both fragrances would suit perfectly, but where I would turn right and where I would turn left. But now it's getting interesting and this is where the impressions and feedback diverge.
First of all: both fragrances are very "spring-like" and/or "summery", but neither of them are summer fragrances, but rather spring fragrances if you take temperatures into account. In my opinion, neither fragrance works in really hot temperatures.
- Orange Flamingo: I run around as if freshly showered, with a strong orange fabric softener touch, but not smelling like a cheap orange fabric softener, but like a perfume. I'm asked what I'm wearing. I tell them what I'm wearing ... it doesn't matter! I radiate cleanliness, make a statement and do so for over 10 hours!
- Purple Flamingo: I walk around as if I've just showered with a VERY strong iris fabric softener scent, which has an underlying orange tone, but doesn't smell like a cheap iris-orange fabric softener, it smells like a perfume. I'm asked what I'm wearing ... it doesn't matter! I look VERY clean, make a statement and do so for 8 hours!
Sound almost identical? In my opinion, the two fragrances are largely the same. But in my opinion, it's more about whether you give the "light orange tone" in Orange Flamingo a chance or the "slightly stronger iris tone with an orange undertone". Which one is "better" or "worse"? Neither of them. It's all about which scent you prefer.
Personally, I would minimally prefer Orange Flamingo for everyday use because, from my own experience, its slightly "lighter lightness" goes down better with people and it is more flexible to use in spring and summer temperatures. But the Purple Flamingo is the one that "makes more of an impression", but should not be worn much earlier than the Orange Flamingo in spring and summer temperatures, as it is slightly more penetrating than the Orange Flamingo.
In conclusion, for which season the two fragrances are suitable in my opinion:
Spring-/Light-Summer-Time: Purple Flamingo
Light/summer time: Orange Flamingo
High-Summer-Time: Other summer fragrances
Final word on the H/S: For me, the Orange Flamingo is noticeably stronger than the Purple Flamingo in terms of radiance and longevity, but in terms of intensity, the iris in the Purple Flamingo pops much more than the orange in the Orange Flamingo (just in case anyone is comparing individual fragrance notes). But in the overall construct, it interweaves again.

The paladin of fragrances
I don't know what space smells like because I'm not an astronaut, but if there's one thing I learned in class back then, it's that space can't smell like anything because there are no molecules and fragrances in space that affect the sense...

The green-grassy heaven of my personal seasoning hell - And why my hell is heaven for many
Although the fragrance is a 9 for me, it has to go. There's no other way.
"Intensivo" ... in my opinion, the name says it all. Rose dominates, but then the other notes and the oud come...
