No 39: Honey and Deermusk Meleg Perfumes 2020

I'll tell u what... Modern perfumerie sure is hoity toity sometimes, especially when it comes to current modern fragrances. Some people who put down a fragrance AND it's owner/perfumer really have balls. This man Matthew Meleg has taken a lot of unnecessary criticism because of this fragrance, which is named Honey and Deer Musk. They say this, that and the other. I have a hunch it's because REAL animalics are used and the self righteous goody goodies are up in arms. I say TO HELL WITH ALL OF YOU!! I happen to love this fragrance, which is more unisex than just feminine. There's debate whether or not the note breakdown is accurate. I admit I don't have an aptly trained nose to be able to pull apart notes like some do and they are to be commended. All that said again I love this fragrance. Not because of what's inside but because of something much more important... THE SCENT!!! From top to bottom and side to side this is a quality concoction, with the Bergamot to the strong Cinnamon right down to the animalics ending on a note of pure authentic OAKMOSS! The strength could be a little better considering the price but a solid 6hrs is fine by me. I'm so glad you're doing what u want and to hell with the draconian IFRA. Others hear this... If u don't like it, MOVE ON AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!
