Macaroon from Saronno
It begins with a well reproduced lavender, which after about ten seconds is accompanied by an almondy, alcoholic, slightly sweetened aroma. As the lavender wears off, the amaretto note increases in intensity. During that time when they feel
together, they form a beautiful agreement. This amaretto note isn't bad at all. After 10 minutes the "essence" of amaretto tends to fade, leaving only the sugar to integrate with the central accord which opens with a large geranium followed by sage. With an increasingly prominent sage, a waning geranium and icing sugar, we continue for at least 4 hours. At this point, white musk together with wood takes the place of geranium and sage, but the artificial sweetening effect does not disappear. The beginning of the fragrance is particularly good, the rest isn't that great, that sugar that already creeps in between the central notes shouldn't have been there.
