Can bread be sexy?

Panettone - We all know this Italian cake in the form of a bundt cake, which is very fluffy on the inside and has less of the firm cake-like consistency of a sponge cake. In recent years, this sweet or dessert can also be found in German supermarkets for every festive season. The huge boxes are often a feast for the eyes...
Well, I discovered the scent - a victim of social networks - through a video of a young lady who described the scent as absolutely delicious. I was just in the right mood and placed a blind order, because the idea of panettone really turned me on fragrance-wise.

Today it came to me and I can hardly describe my impressions. Some profumos have already described the fragrance as strange. In fact, I can hardly think of anything else off the top of my head. Such a strange fragrance!
The opening is orangey, but also a little stale, like an orange aroma that has been forgotten in the cupboard for at least three years. That sounds rather off-putting, but it actually is only to a limited extent and for a very short time. Then comes the smell of bread. Little sweetness, I see yeast pastries with a slightly too brown crust. The sweetness is there, but it creeps in from time to time, subtle yet perceptible. The candied orange peel says hello and beckons. Rum and vanilla also play a part. But all of this is delicate and floating, flashing out again and again, not stuffy or sticky.

For me, the fragrance is a great surprise. Not easy to wear, very special. It is very subtle, but extremely noticeable and present on my skin. I always want to smell it on me, I find it very sexy and different. I've never smelled anything like it before.

The bottle is heavy and bright blue. I'm fascinated by the sprayer, because it gives off a good surge of the finest fragrance mist. You just want to spray it around you. It's my first fragrance from Milano Fragranze, perhaps all of the brand's fragrances are of this quality. The longevity is also unexpectedly good at six or seven hours on the skin and longer on clothing.

The fragrance hasn't come off that well so far, I think you intuitively expect a sweet, easy-to-wear scent and then are surprised at how complex this yeast cake smells.
For me, it's a pure delight in winter, I can't imagine it at temperatures above 10 degrees, but you really have to try it out.
I dared to experiment with panettone - and actually won!
