Nice blended dessert gourmand

Narcotica Love Me Latte is a multifaceted coffee / dessert fragrance consisting of light coffee, brown sugar, vanilla, caramel, tonka, woods, and a hint of fruit, overall fostering the smell of not one specific dessert, but a bunch of desserts, albeit with coffee. I think it’s an easy winner for fans of gourmands while not standing out in any one particular way. Still, I pretty much always approve of a house having a sort of mixed sweet / coffee gourmand in their catalogue, as I both enjoy this category of fragrances myself and figure that they’re likely to sell well and be crowd-pleasing in the current market.

Love Me Latte is extrait concentration and priced at $280 for 100ml, sold via US boutiques like Krystal Fragrance, from which a sample was included on a previous purchase. It performs quite well, though not as well as Doza. I doubt I’ll ever spring for a bottle, but overall, I like it.

Love Me Latte

Reminds me of sipping a tea latte in a dewy garden with the last flowers of the season slowly decaying while a nearby fireplace burns and the smoke wafts into the late afternoon sky. This is definitely a complex fragrance which you can gather by the extensive list of notes. There’s a lot going on. It’s not a straight forward gourmand. I can definitely catch the creamy champaca flower note on top of the vanilla and lactose notes. Top and middle it comes across a little sour but on complete dry down is nice. This is definitely not something I would wear every day but is an interesting scent for an autumn date. It has a nice longevity and I can still smell it on my wrist hours after application.
