A perfume like pyjamas?
I really like lavender. Both as a plant and as an ingredient in perfumes, cosmetics, etc. That's why "Sweet Dreams" had to go into my shopping cart.
The fragrance starts with essential lavender, but after a short time chamomile and sage come to the fore. Chamomile can be a good addition to perfumes, but here it is too overpowering and dominant. It smells like strong chamomile tea, the rosemary is only very faintly perceptible in the background. Lavender flashes up from time to time. Overall, the fragrance develops far too quickly and the perfume also quickly becomes skin-deep. The longevity is therefore mediocre.
The consistency of the perfume is slightly oily, making it rather unsuitable for applying to clothing. The homepage states that essential oils, absolutes and essences have been used for this, which may explain the consistency and durability. In my opinion, it would have done the fragrance good to tone down the camomile and bring the lavender more to the fore. The rosemary might have worked better in the base than in the actual top note. All in all, a little disappointing.
