Herb-green in Provençal style...
Although Dutch "noses" are responsible for this, I have made a French-sounding "catch" with this fragrance. Specifically, it smells of "Provence". Not an abstract array of a thousand intertwined notes, but a "sturdy" and almost "minimalist" fine, green Fougère, with delicate floral hints. Sure, there are citrus fruits, but also their blossoms. A good portion of herby lavender has been showcased here.
For "grounding," there is quite a bit of patchouli - the good old cedar provides aromatic wood impressions. However, in a perfume, it is not only about which ingredients are used, but also about their "staging." Here, there are no standout main characters; everything is equally important and in harmony with itself and the "fragrance partners." Of course, there are also appropriate edges and corners. The lavender is particularly aromatic-herbaceous, the patchouli quite earthy - not too "cellar-like," also grassy. The cedar is more fresh wood than "pencil," and the orange blossoms provide the finishing touch that makes it appear fresh-soft. All together, it results in a "Provence Fougère" that can be enjoyed!
