Gentle alien
The company NG is next door in the Netherlands, a mid-range drugstore fragrance. The brand only rarely finds its way to Germany and then only as a special or remaining stock. Here, in contrast to the Netherlands, it is frowned upon as a cheap fragrance. I was "next door" these days and found this fragrance.
I was taken with the unusual bottle alone. A dark purple obelisk. Simple and unusual. The golden lid is decorated with a triangular purple stone.
It was already clear to me visually in which direction the fragrance would trot. Alien was a great role model. But I can't describe the fragrance as a dupe. More like a nice cousin. After alcohol as a prelude, it is floral, sweet and slightly powdery with a strong hint of aniseed or caraway. Could also be fennel. Of the flowers, I smelled jasmine and a little lily of the valley. Together with the sandalwood and other woods, a successful blend that later becomes heavy. Heavy and spicy, yes, but not overwhelming like Alien. Alien in a gentle form for spring and summer and I like that.
All in all, a mature and grown-up, independent fragrance that is similar to Alien. Lasts about 3-4 hours and since I don't like to drag a flag of fragrance behind me, it's perfect for me. Alien is too strong for me and that's why I never bought it.
