I love this pistachio cream

Actually, my budget was already exceeded this month, but I HAD to have the new Pistache! You have to reward yourself somehow.

When I saw the first pictures of Un Pistache, I was immediately hyped - I love pistachio scents! Finally arrived in stores; sniffing it for the first time; I was a bit disappointed at the beginning. It starts off green, almost spicy. Cardamom I like, but this carrot stuff in perfumes? I don't know....

But then it came! This delicious soft pistachio cream! As if you could spoon it right out of the bottle! Just yummy!

Obvious fragrances are generally no sillage monsters, rather more a fragrance for itself. Nevertheless, I had Un Pistache all day again and again in the nose and on the skin

A creamy pistachio dream

First of all: I wasn't really expecting much from this fragrance. I ordered it for a traveling letter from a sharing and at first glance it doesn't match my typical prey pattern either.

But the first time I sprayed it on, I couldn't get enough and had to sniff it two more times. It opens slightly floral and then immediately becomes creamy, but not overpowering, instead it has a creamy lightness that is underlined by the light spiciness of cardamom. The carrot, pistachio milk and cardamom harmonize really well with each other and make this fragrance a wonderful fragrance experience that can be worn for any occasion. The fragrance notes continue right through to the end; of the woods, I only notice the sandalwood and musk slightly, which really adds to the creaminess of the fragrance.

The fragrance is really multi-faceted, I would describe it as creamy, sweet, gourmand, spicy and sometimes fresh, depending on when I sniff it. I also find it difficult to pinpoint a season. I imagine it to be cuddly soft in fall / winter and spicy and refreshing in spring / summer.

The H/S is solid. I only took one spray at a time and it was just as noticeable after several hours as it was at the beginning.

A great example of how an inconspicuous wallflower has made it onto the wish list.

Spring pistachio

I like pistachios both as a fragrance and in food.
Up until now, however, I hadn't really explored pistachio fragrances. That was about to change and so I ordered a bottle of both Une Pistache and Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 here in the souk.
I sprayed both on my wrists at the same time - one on my right wrist, the other on my left. I immediately noticed pistachio on both wrists, with Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 very sweet (and delicious), with Une Pistache a little fresher, but also subtly sweet, perhaps like a light dessert, which you enjoy on a spring Easter Sunday after a nice lunch.
As Une Pistache progressed, the scent became a little "cleaner" for me and the pistachio scent diminished somewhat, while Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 remained sweeter and more gourmand, but here too the scent of pistachio diminished.

Une Pistache is a very nice pistachio fragrance for spring and maybe it can also accompany me at Easter this year...

Green, clean and milky facets of pistachio

I love pistachio scents, so I try to sample them all. Especially when a new one is released.

Une Pistache is quite different from the rest of them: Not very gourmand, neither particularly sweet, nor savory-roasty. Instead it opens up green and leafy, almost grassy! The first blast reminds me of young shoots on some kind of bush or tree. Pistachio is only a whisper at this point. I was sceptical at first, simply because I'm not a big fan of grassy green scents and thought this would not work for me.
But quickly, some milky and woodsy undertones join in. Together with the greenery this reminds me of the structure many fig fragrances have: leafy and milky.
And then then scent finally turns a little sweeter and the pistachio becomes noticeable. The green notes move into the background, heliotrope's almond-like facets emphasize the nuttiness and a base of white musk and sandalwood unfolds.

The change from opening to drydown is fast and dramatic on my skin, which I'm happy about, as I enjoy the drydown much more. It becomes a clean, slightly creamy, slightly powdery skin scent with a lovely pistachio accent and the slightest hint of green.

It's not a weak scent, but has a softer presence. Perfect for anyone who loves pistachio, but doesn't want to wear heavy gourmands all of the time. I see this as a daytime scent, a subtle cocoon for the office, running errands or just lounging around.

Carrot cake with pistachios

The opening is reminiscent of a spicy, juicy carrot cake with a hint of sweetness. But instead of hazelnuts, it was baked with pistachios. These become more and more apparent as the fragrance progresses, together with a light herbaceous note reminiscent of Angélique Noire, but without the vanilla. A really beautiful, creamy, not too sweet pistachio fragrance that you can wear very well in everyday life. For me, it's also much more authentic than Yum
Pistachio Gelato by Kayali, which is also very nice, but doesn't live up to its name because it only smells of pistachio for a very short time.
