Worth the hype? (of 1 YouTuber)
A very safe oud fragrance. Starts off with sweetness and rose, transitioning to a woodsy and smoky base after about an hour. It doesn't particularly wow me but it's solid enough to keep around for now. I may be more in the mood for this come colder weather.

Sprayer on the bottle is good. Solid spritz. Good tight-fitting cap too. Not sure on the compliment factor but it shouldn't offend anyone unless you douse yourself. The YouTuber that put me on to this apparently lives that over spray life. 3-4 seems plenty to me.

Shipped really fast but the box was busted up (it was way bigger than the actual bottle box) and the bottle was almost hot to the touch. Not sure if that affects anything.

Overall, I give this an 8/10.

Pretty Strong
It has huge performance and sillage, you should be aware of that.
I don't find it to be sweet, more like dry oud and rose mostly.
And you do get the oud (but very clean), so if you're in company of people who might be sensitive to such scents I would suggest to go easy on the trigger or to layer it.

That's actually the best use that I've found. I use it as a base oud layer and spray something more mainstream on top, for example Montale Arabians Tonka (where I don't get any oud honestly).

Scorpion Intense = Aaron Terence Hughes Onyx 95+%
I own both Scorpion Intense and Onyx by Aaron Terence Hughes and they are so similar you could call them identical. I wore one on my left arm and the other on my right arm and you really have to dig to discern the difference other than Scorpion Intense lasts longer. It is the classic Rose-Oud linear fragrance all the way to the dry down 10+ hrs later. That is where the difference is in my opinion to these fragrances, in the dry down. Don't get me wrong I love both fragrances but if you own one, the other is redundant to my nose.

The "Non-Comparison" Comparison
I read:
“Anyone looking for a truly inexpensive fragrance that smells like 'Ombre Nomade | Louis Vuitton' will find exactly what they need in 'Scorpion Intense | Odyon'!”
To that, I say: Nope and Nope!
1) A truly inexpensive fragrance is certainly not "Scorpion Intense | Odyon." The price is well over €100, which leaves most designer fragrances behind in terms of price. It is undisputed that it costs less than an LV fragrance; however, I find it wrong to present it as a “cheapie.”
2) SI is a different fragrance and also a different caliber! Although the ingredients (on paper) may seem quite similar, the overall presentation is different.

However, this is not meant to be a comparison test between the two fragrances mentioned, but primarily a description of my impressions from the Odyon experience; I will touch on that again later.

Opening:
A surprising freshness initially comes from the bottle. The berry mix clearly dominates the top note here. A hint of rose quickly joins in, and I immediately recall a multitude of fragrances from the Emirates. SI doesn’t “catch” me at first, as I miss something special here.

Later…
Once the fruits have disappeared, the fragrance begins its development, which makes it so popular among some influencers. It took me a good 2 ½ hours before I decided to purchase it. Luckily, the Dubaimall offers enough distractions to allow a fragrance the necessary maturation time. A bit of incense, a bit of saffron, and a veeeery subtle oud note take the lead; the rose is still perceptible. In this regard, I feel I am on the right track.

Even later….
Upon arriving at the hotel, my back aches from carrying shopping bags… the fragrance lasts! (No, this is not a TV commercial from the 80s ;-)… those who know it will remember). For the last good 4 hours, the fragrance maintained its performance…. It was still clearly noticeable to the best wife of all. I am still waiting for some sweetness…

Very late…..
After we had watched the Dubai Fountain and had dinner, we returned to the hotel once again. Over 10 hours had passed since the first spray. Now SI is slowly losing its effect. Unfortunately, no sweetness has emerged, but there remains the feeling of a somewhat harsher shower gel. Satisfied, I lie down….
What remains:
A truly solid oriental fragrance that only reveals its strengths after some time, and therefore may fall short for some, as the development until the “I like” moment takes longer than with others.

To conclude, here’s a summary of the comparison with ON:
-less oud
-less sweetness
-less fullness
-longer development
-more freshness in the opening
-similar longevity
-slightly weaker sillage.
…I still stick with the “No” (regarding the statement in the opener)..

Great scent in shabby packaging
During a trip to Amsterdam, I discovered Scorpion and brought it home with me. Well, at first it doesn't smell extraordinary, even a bit like gasoline (which fades pretty quickly), but the drydown still captivates me. Soft, oudy, and seductive, it presents itself. Although unisex, it feels more masculine to me. It lasts over 10 hours, and the sillage is above average. The price of about 130 euros (50 ml) is okay; the only bothersome thing - if you will - is the bottle, which is quite simple. But better juice fits, bad bottle - than the other way around...

Smells great but good LORD - please watch your trigger finger. Over 2 sprays will clear out a large room full of people. You've been warned.

It’s a very nice oud-rose with a touch of berries. Very oriental and loud. I’d say is unisex leaning to masculine. Performance is beast-mode

Some resemblance to Ombre Nomade but sweeter, with more rose and perhaps a little more raspberry. Less complex and with cheaper ingredients.

ON-alternative!
Rounder, more pleasing, less smoky.
A bit fruitier, better designed.
Everyday suitable, more eco-friendly.
H/S monstrous.

Ombre Nomade is appealing. Without being overly wicked. A black, masculine rose meets saffron, oud, and incense. H/S very good.

For me, it's a clear dupe for Ombre Nomade.
SI is rounder & less scratchy
No compromises here
H/S for me, better than ON
