my opinion only
Lalique Pour Homme Le Faune is a well-rounded fragrance that can seamlessly transition from daytime to evening wear. Its unique blend of citrus, spice, and woodsy notes makes it versatile and appealing. The craftsmanship and quality of Lalique are evident in every spritz, making it a worthy addition to any fragrance collection.

For those seeking a scent that is both timeless and modern, Lalique Pour Homme Le Faune is an excellent choice. It's a fragrance that complements the refined gentleman, leaving a lasting impression of elegance and charm

Quite a Sweet Brew
I acquired this based on the intriguing comment from Chanelle Le Faune on the internet. Overall, the stuff is indeed quite sweet and not a "Must Have" - but it definitely deserves a few words from me about Le Faune. It starts with a nice bergamot note, which quickly fades away. I also smell a lovely combination of airy (as Apicius often writes) lavender and grounded juniper, which I wouldn't have recognized well without help from this site. The two somewhat weaken each other, and then the orange comes into play for me. So far, so good. For me, the barely present or very quickly passing heart note is the problem. I smell neither pepper nor geranium, and only a hint of anise with a bit of goodwill. Immediately, I am confronted with the strongly ambered base note. The amber really comes through and creates the warm sweetness for me in combination with the (not soapy) musk and sandalwood. If you like that, you will feel quite at home here. The amber is too strong for me, but I am compensated by a very nice vanilla note with a bit of patchouli in the final stages of the fragrance development. Overall, this is something for men looking for something sweet. It can definitely also be worn by women.

It's freezing in the thick winter coat....
This summer, which is actually a winter, inspired me to continue the series "Men's fragrances that women love." With a scent that has a goat as its logo. Actually, it's a faun, which can be equated with a satyr, so a cross between a human and a billy goat, who lives in the woods, plays the flute, and has an insatiable sex drive. Does that say anything about the scent?
No. It is not a seduction scent, which I consider fragrances like Le Male, Armani Code, LP No. 9, and the like. My partner, who uses all these fragrances and also the faun, only brings it out for certain occasions that do not take place near a bed, but rather for events like "First dinner at future mother-in-law's" or "Job interview" or "Meeting with the bank guy about a mortgage."
I like the scent just as much as his others. And it's a little bit sexy too, although not so much that you recognize it immediately. By the way, it is presented here in Eau de Parfum concentration.
The top note is not as spicy as one might think based on the notes included, but rather lavender-orange and slightly creamy-spicy, which I find very nice.
The heart note then becomes more masculine, spicier, and also woodier, but the macho note only comes in with restrained foam; a floral note makes it very pleasant for my feminine nose. The anise note gives it a light, sweet freshness kick, the special aspect of this scent.
The base, supposedly full of heavy notes, ensures that the scent lingers; it lasts very well and is very present, with great sillage, and also gives it a velvety, slightly animalistic orientation.
A great scent, tasteful and underrepresented, I think.
Guys, dare to try it!
It doesn't smell like an old goat, but like a young advertising designer!

Complex-sweet
I had that one too. Unfortunately, I don't see it in any perfumery anymore. It elicited some interesting reactions. A sweet, complex scent with a slight animalistic touch. I have rarely smelled anything similar.

1st impression:A refined fairly subtle scent, elegant, sweet & lightly spicy. I sense lavender & amber most of all & a touch of coriander.

The Faun has its quirks.
Beautiful lavender, demanding anise.
It gets better over time, more oriental.
Nice. *

This faun lives in the Orient! An oriental, spicy-sweet seducer. Lavender spiced with anise, amber, and vanilla. An enticing flute melody..!

Today I snagged a bottle with 30ml left :)
I'm shocked and speechless!
How could they discontinue this olfactory masterpiece!

It only becomes interesting for me from the transition from heart to base. It then gets spicier, earthier, woodier, and the sweetness fades more.

I should have never given it away, some things you just end up regretting... It reminds me of scents like YR Eryo or Cacharel Nemo.

The similarities to Cacharel's Nemo are hard to miss. Nemo was released in 1999, Faune in 2000. Coincidence?
