Cold marine air and warm skin
The opening is a blast of cool marine air, with salty water and aldehydes. I don’t detect any fruity notes. After a short while, the composition calms down and warm, skin-like musk comes to the forefront. The floral notes are very subtle, lingering softly in the background.
Marine fragrances usually don’t work well with my skin chemistry, but this one is different. There’s something about it that makes me want to keep smelling it. It’s not a typical crowd-pleaser, yet there is something intriguing, and even sentimental about it. It reminds me of childhood holidays by the cold Baltic Sea.
I was pleasantly surprised by its longevity and projection. I expected a light, close-to-the-skin scent, but after six hours I can still clearly smell it on myself. I even noticed it while wearing a warm jacket and scarf, shoveling snow off my car in freezing temperatures.
