What the "beachy fragrance" category has been missing!

Fragrances that are described and marketed as beachy, summertime scents, are popular for a reason. But a lot of them fail to blow me away or stand out to me as something different from others in that category. Often, they just sort of smell like different versions of each other. Cabanilla on the other hand is what I think this sub-genre of beachy summery smells has been missing. Coconut and vanilla come together in this fragrance in a way that doesn't feel like the yearly summer cash grab fragrances that get released once the weather gets hot, and it's not overly sweet or overly "sunscreeny"!
Sweet coconut, a hint of brown sugar, salty vanilla, sea water soaked driftwood, tropical palm leaf, the smoke of a distant campfire, and a relaxing mineral note of warm sand. Each of the notes work so well together in this fragrance. My favorite note in this fragrance however has to be the peru balsam. The resinous and warm, almost cinnamon like smell, is what I believe makes this fragrance so special.
Honestly, I believe this may be my new favorite beach fragrance!
