Outdoorsy stink and driftwood
Fresh, aquatic, and green. I’ve always enjoyed going to the beach in the off season, and the sea spray note in this fragrance reminds me of the wind off the Atlantic Ocean on a cold day. I wish I could bottle just that note, without the sour crabapple and green geranium that combine on my skin to smell like kids who’ve been rolling around in the grass and then come inside stinking of sweat and outdoors.
And then, quite unexpectedly, everything dries down to a sort of salty woody smell, like driftwood, which is admittedly quite nice, but not listed anywhere in the notes. I almost rated this lower because of the outdoorsy stank, but that driftwood smell saved it.
