Overhyped dissapointment
I was really hyped to try this scent since everyone was hyping it up over the summer and I finally got a chance to get a decant. Dont believe the hype. I really dont like it, its very in your face, reminds me of those unpleasant sweet candies your grandma gives you that have been laying on the dining table for years.
Sweet lemon & mandarin mixed with a non spicy ginger with no sparkling quality (which is for me a need in a ginger fragrance) VERY loud. Then it dries down and gets less annoying, but you get this designer-ish base that im not very fond of for a fragrance worth 150 euros, I would like to sample this brand more, but this is a pass for me.
I brought with me to school to test some other opinions, but no positive feedbacks. Not worth the money, if you do want a sparkling ginger frag that actually smells like ginger, check out Prada's Infusion de Gingembre .

If Vibrato and Bohemian Lime had a baby
Immagine Vibrato by Sospiro and Bohemian Lime having a baby. This is it, it would be Ingenious Ginger. At first spritz it reminds me of Bohemian Lime, it's all sparkling citruses. Soon after the ginger kicks in and the perfume gives Vibrato vibes, so much so that I would say it becomes identical to Vibrato, except that the base notes, with vanilla and amber, make Ingenious Ginger sweeter and smoother. It is a perfectly unisex perfume, although I consider this the more feminine-leaning of the three. Best worn in spring and summer.

Sweet summer screamer.
I’m split on this one…
On one hand I appreciate the care put into this, but on the other I just don’t vibe with it?
About the only time I see myself wearing this, would be to a more formal style gathering, and that’s far too few moments to warrant a full bottle for me.

The scent has a very bright and citrusy opening, it honestly reminds me of the smell of a Lemonhead candy, with its sweet powdery coating. Underneath the orange and lemon, I get vanilla and musks creating a very-very sweet and delicious aroma, but it plays a fine balance of almost being too sweet for my taste? The citruses come off very shear, and in combination with the vanillic notes, I’m torn.
A few florals smattered in to add some balance to the sweetness, but the star of the show is definitely the sweeter notes.
I get more longevity than sillage from this, lasting around 9-10hrs, with about a conversation distance sillage.
Not my everyday vibe, but it’s not a bad scent.

Spicy amber heaven.

This is my only ambery sweet scent right now, as I am generally running toward green woody aromatics. This is something so far outside what I am usually looking at, but I fell in absolute love and had to buy it. The smooth harmony of the notes is melodic to me. Ginger and white floral (jasmine, magnolia) are singing alto here, carrying the show from spritz to delicious skin scent 18 hours later. They are accented just slightly with Italian lemon's soprano. Creamy dreamy Aussie sandalwood and cashmeran are the rhythm section, keeping everything aligned and in time. The amber orchestra rises and falls in an unfolding journey with a few hours of crescendo in the mid drydown where the string section musky amber and the brass vanilla and patchouli really come to the fore. The leading lady is unmistakably a sweet ginger, and she ocassionally pulls out a mandarin triangle and dings it refreshingly. The whole composition feels like a spectacular show in late spring under the stars, balmy air carrying the conceptual fragrance of the (in reality, odourless) architectural Australian native ginger flowers. While it evokes spring and early summer, I do think that I will wear this most in late autumn when I want the heat of ginger and amber and to withdraw from the reserve of sunshine as though laying on the hot sand of sunset.

Originally I thought this was a daytime wear, but it lasts so well that I've been inadvertently wearing it to sleep and thoroughly enjoying doing so. Also, it's strong enough on clothing that I put it on my collar when there are unpleasant smells in my surroundings I want to get away from, to great success. Highly recommend the convenient and affordable travel spray (lid is very secure) regardless of whether you're getting the 100ml.

Horrible
I really enjoy a perfume with a fresh and realistic ginger note. Especially when it is accompanied by beautiful and fresh flowers. So I had high hopes for this perfume. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this perfume. The scent starts quite sweet with a spicy and powdery ginger note. After the perfume has landed well on my skin, the ginger is getting a bit fresher. But after half an hour the ginger has suddenly disappeared completely. The smell is completely taken over by a terrible dominant sweet haze that looks very much like cola. This totally ruins the smell. No more ginger or a flower to be found in the perfume. The syrupy sweet slowly fades out in a terribly boring way. Maybe the chemistry with now in skin isn't right. But what a disappointment.

feels like two different perfumes: watery ginger citrus & 30 min later vanilla ice cream drydown that reminded me of Ani. both were great.

Ingenious Ginger starts fresh like Tygar with grapefruit, Ambroxan and ginger, but softens into a creamy, sweet vanilla base.

Fresh-sweet-fruity, realistic ginger with a mild fem lean. Think Vibrato/Tygar with an Ani-esque vanilla. Sillage missing, longevity's ~5h.

Blast of ginger settles nicely into a beautiful floral-citrus. The amber gives it an air of sophistication but the fruitiness keeps it fun!

Imagine a opening like Bulgari Tygar and drydown of Nishane Ani, still unique on its own and a average longevity of 5-6 hours on skin.

Smells oddly like Fanta to me. More orange than ginger, woody floral dry down. Very linear

Zingy soda pop. Has some of that Tygar DNA, but it's smoothened out to quite an extent. Vanillic drydown, but the ginger is there faintly

Amazing ginger fragrance very sparkly. One hour and half ginger dominate the fragrance but drydown is really close to Ani by Nishane. Lovely

The value for money is really good here.

In the same league as Hacivat, Perseus, etc., delivers just as much quality for half the price.
