Burberry Her for a Fraction of the Cost
Out of the Burberry Her line, my favorite is the Eau de Toilette, followed by Elixir, with the original Her coming in third place. I’m in no way put-off by Her, but I do find her slightly lacking compared to the strawberry milkshake joy that is Her Elixir, and not quite as refreshing as the pear and honeysuckle in the Eau de Toilette. I do also feel that Her is lacking a bit in projection and longevity. Would I still wear Burberry Her? Yes, and I do have my travel size from the Her discovery set I purchased earlier this year, but I don’t think I’d repurchase.
So, when I was fortunate enough to find a bottle of Sand + Fog Love Potion, a dupe for Burberry Her, at my local TJ Maxx, I gave it a try. I’m pleasantly surprised that this oil not only is a highly-accurate dupe, but it also has a stronger scent and lasts longer than the Her Eau de Parfum. This oil certainly layer beautifully with the original perfume, for anyone seeking to extend the longevity and increase the sillage. As for me, I’ll be quite content with just this oil, which currently retails beneath $25 per bottle on the brand’s website, once my travel size Burberry Her runs out.
If you enjoy Burberry Her, or other fragrances with soft violets and berry notes, Love Potion will be an excellent fit.
