Relaxing mountain hike wearing freshly laundered clothes
I have no idea why there isn’t a ton of hype around this fragrance. I sample 10-15 perfumes a month and rarely find a love (I have 14 total full bottle perfumes, and this will be the 15th). It is the softest aromatic perfume I’ve smelled - so it’s woody, spicy and clean but somehow still gives an impression of watercolor. It’s fresh and light but also has a silky amber in the base that makes it a hint deeper. It’s a walk in the mountains to restore my peace, cypress and cedar trees and a sprig of lavender around me, and I’m heating up just enough for my freshly laundered clothes to perfume the air along with the amber perfume that remains on my skin from the wild night prior.
I get some similarities to Initio Rehab but this is so much better to me because the lavender is almost undetectable - just adds a fresh air feel but none of the essential oil vibe that is so off-putting to me in perfume. It also reminds me of the opening of Gypsy Water if you eliminate the lemon and vanilla. But it is not so similar to Gypsy Water (due to the absence of vanilla mainly) that you can’t have both. I do not smell the cinnamon here, nor the patchouli. I have seen a reviewer state this turned into pencils and cleaners on her skin so very important to test (however I tested on myself and my husband and it was gorgeous on us both).
This will be my easy reach spring and summer daytime perfume, safe for work, completely unisex.
