citrus drink

the scent opens with a sweet citrus note blended with soft cocoa tones. from the very start there’s a light animalic touch, not dirty or aggressive, but more like a gentle shadow that adds depth. as it dries down, hyraceum becomes clearer, giving the fragrance a slightly wild and unusual edge while still staying balanced. the mix of sweetness, warmth and that faint animalic presence makes it feel different and offbeat. it doesn’t smell polished or commercial, but rather quirky and independent, with the kind of character that feels indie and memorable.

A sensory journey from a bright, invigorating morning to a serene and reflective afternoon

The name alone alludes to a quite familiar place, but thanks to the rip into the scent this is not a typical bar, but most likely representational of a lazily warm, sun soaked Italian bar, where the air is heavy with citrus and the scents of flowering trees.
This scent opens with a bright, effervescent blast of citrus notes. You almost feel the fizz and pop of fresh yuzu and zeste of grapefruit. From first impression, it feels incredibly refreshing and uplifting from a scent that awakens all of our senses in a resounding sense of liveliness, as it remedies the dullness of everyday monochromatic grey. This citrus accord is bright and cheerful, it is also not sharp or sour. It feels joyous almost like pouring cold prosecco on a hot day.
As the scent develops, a contemporary aromatic rose accord arrives. This is not a delicate, weak rose, but rather a full-bodied, rich, aromatic, lively and complete dimensional rose, with many variables of rose variety every capable of demonstrating a different reflection! This rose is fresh and vibrant, with hints that are spicy, and shades of reds and whites represented in many variables. The rose here, feels like the heartbeat of the fragrance, its the main focus of the fragrance and is a pause for the reflection process representing the core essence of floral joy and sensual relaxation.
The base of the fragrance is where the stage becomes exciting. A rich co-extraction of nard and cocoa makes an interesting perspective here. The earthy, slightly peppery nard adds the depth to the fragrance with the acidic sweetness of criollo cocoa articulating a dark grounding to the brightness of the top and heart notes. This base is the reason for the long lasting persistence and adds a level of sophistication that almost bears a meditative state. It is an odd combination that eliminates negative thoughts and inspires one to let go and receive simple pleasures in life.

Citrus rose

In the opening, the only thing I could smell was a lime/citron like citrus. Very sparkly and fresh citrus.
After a couple of minutes, the perfume turns more green and a faint rose comes out. It is not a sweet rose, just a faint citrusy rose. I can also smell much greenery, almost like a basil or some other fresh herb.
In the dry down, the rose becomes more prominent and is in the front, with the citrus.
I love how smoothly this transitions and how the notes come in slowly and steadily.
This is the best fresh, citrus rose perfume I have smellt.
I have only tried this on paper so I can not comment on the performance. However, it did project well from the scent strip.

Rose drink

A beautiful summer rose with a generous dose of citrus fruits and a nice sparkling touch. I liked it a lot. As for others, the quality of the materials used is excellent.
