Rich and sweet Propolis Rose perfume

A rare piece. The overall composition is rich, propolis-resin rose, with a fleeting hint of seaweed, thick and slightly sticky. The main note then settles on a rich, dark brown tea. The mid-palate reveals a rich, sweet wild fennel, brightened by citrus and pine. The fragrance is rich and weighty, a classic example of a dense perfume.

A very multifaceted rose scent, with beautiful contrasts.

At the opening I smell a very fruity scent (also thanks to the apricot) and fresh rose together with these algae that give a vegetal-salty and earthy smell. As the perfume evolves, the fruity notes will be felt less and less, but the miso notes and St. Peter's wort, which give off a bitter smell, will emerge more and more.

Rosa Umami by Zanini offers an engaging reinterpretation of the ubiquitous rose fragrance with floral elegance and an unexpected touch of gourmand. The fragrance opens with a delicious fruit splash that uplifts the rose heart. As it continues to evolve, the floral heart is augmented by accords of cocoa butter and Jasmine rice that impart a creamy, slightly "umami" warmth (hence the name). This fragrance is perfect for anyone that appreciates a rose fragrance but wants something more explorative. It has moderate longevity; the scent strength is slightly leaner than perceived, making it appropriate for a daytime fragrance or for evening situations where a trace is more important than a saturated cloud of scent. A fun, modern look at a rose fragrance— utterly delicious.

The thousand faces of the roses

I can capture the facets of the different roses present in this fragrance. Initially fruity in a combo with the apricot, it then acquires light green tones and finally becomes clear and airy. It seems to be a celebration of the various characteristics that can be found in floral arrangements. To this is added an unusual note of miso/soy sauce. Very characteristic and unique. I like it, good!
