Another Zoologist/Prin Lomros Winner

Zoologist and Prin Lomros have a real winner here. I'm not good at imagery, but a cobra implied a steamy tropical environment to me. The opening of King Cobra is the opposite - a very dry, warm, sharp (or spicy) green accord, almost like dry hay or grass. The camphor is quite noticeable but doesn't impart a Vicks Vaporub impression. It's camphor done right. The middle notes appear, with the earthy/soil and cumin notes being prominent. The cumin does impart a mild BO scent, but this lasts only for about 5 minutes. The incense takes its place in the dry down in front of a very pleasant and masculine mossy, patch and vetiver base.

Performance was very good for me. I got a good 10 hours out of it, at which point it was a more or less woody/spicy type of skin scent. Projection and sillage were also very good - strong but not beast mode/room filling. Overall scent profile is quite masculine to me. Also strikes me as a very versatile scent. I tested King Cobra on a pretty warm day (86F/30C); it was quite pleasant. It should also work in colder weather because it has a certain pungency that could cut through the cold with good performance.

Overall, I'm very impressed with this Lomros creation. His Zoologist Rhinoceros 2020 is also quite good. Both are on my FB shopping list.

Cool Cobra

Wow! A cool, camphor explosion right off the top. After about 15 minutes it transitions into a green, wet jungle.
Two hours in and it gets a hint of smokiness and the touch of cannabis comes out. Twelve hours later and I still smell it in my skin. Just one spray! Done of the listed notes don't seem to show up on me (eg tea, pomelo) which is too bad but those that do appear are a very interesting symphony of scent. If I wasn't limiting myself to only two Zoologist fragrances this year then this one would be on my list!

dry and soily opening with a dusty incense following and plenty of smoke to surround. There is a bit of freshness coming from the pomelo and fig leaf, but it’s subtle. The cannabis here doesn't overtly read like "weed" but it smells more like the ash left behind in a tray after a smoke session hours prior, as its dry, earthy, slightly camphorous and herbal, but not on the nose "blunt". The dry down does get a bit sweaty from a dirty cumin and heavy hands of vetiver, but it does feel fitting for something snake like, and serpentine esque. There's also a mossy quality to it, but in dry, smoky sense vs damp and humid. A lovely interpretation of the cobra.

Not scary as it seems

This cobra is not as scary as it seems.
The first opening phase is very camphorated, a little rough for the first handful of seconds, then it starts to show something of itself: some hints of freshness - little - that opens the entrance to its softer and more sensual heart. The most present note to my nose is the incense a little dampened by the black tea and other things that I don't understand. The base is extremely sensual, yes you understood well super sensual and tends to soften more and more, almost like the slightly soapy bases. I'm not an expert on Prin but here there is a lot of balance. And it's a wearable perfume.

The smell of the Emerald King

I can still smell Cobra strongly on myself 8 hours after its application (2 sample sprays), which is an insane performance. I was unable to smell cannabis like people have said. It really takes me into what I imagine a Yuan Ti temple would smell like, with mystical incense coming at me and hints of moss, earth, and leather. I kept sniffing at my wrist, wanting more. Very, very alluring fragrance, I would say give it a go, be careful of overspraying, but if you like earthy and mysterious fragrances you might enjoy this. This could be a signature scent for many.

The more I smell, the more I become convinced I smell delicious. Very, very strong contender for a full bottle. I am usually very stingy, but I legitimately think its price point is actually fair. Other Zoologist juices do not merit this from me.
