holiday candle!
smells just like those pine-scented candles that come out during the holidays, wax and all. I was drawn to this scent by the promise of fig (one of my favorite notes), and yet it eludes me here. the balsam fir is by far the most prominent note, on top of the sweet caramel and vanilla and a smidge of honey. as it sits on the skin, the fir kind of moves away to let the other notes come through, but even so I only get patchouli, cedar, and caramel then. it's a good scent for cold weather and excellent value for the cost. don't get me wrong, I do like the scent (and I love a good fir fragrance), but it wasn't the figgy goodness I hoped it'd be.
